My girlfriend and I were looking for a place close by the hospital that our friend was recovering in, and Fortune Garden popped up in the search.What a great, serendipitous occurrence!The place is clean and cozy, with wonderful staff and fantastic food.The flavor of the dishes is complex and pleasing, and the portions are the perfect size.We have found a new Chinese/Vietnamese restaurant to add to our list!
I ordered chicken fried rice, Kung pao chicken, and egg drop soup. The chicken fried rice was very good, with a lot of flavor. The Kung pan chicken has way too many bell peppers and water chestnuts. There was a good amount of chicken, but the sauce used was not very flavorful. I can only give it a 3-star rating. The problem is that the egg drop soup was rotten. Best PHO in the area! Huge serving size, with great price. Yea the atmosphere looks run down and booths have holes in the upholstery BUT it’s the best PHO & lunch specials in the area. This PHO is THE BEST! I regret going to PHO MPH.
