“Traveling on the highway, we found this jewel and were instantly smitten! We WILL be back! The atmosphere, the food, the service, everything was just the best. And Beulah, the manager, is a darling and so kind! Everything about this restaurant is highly recommended!”

“Pleasant little cafe in Salado, we waited a few minutes before we were provided menus, but we had our choice of breakfast or lunch. Food was decent, biscuit was fluffy. I had eggs with red potatoes, onions, peppers and sausage.”

“Had the bacon,egg, and bean tacos in homemade tortillas. The flavor was mouth bursting, just delicious with their unique salsa. The only down is that this place accepts cash only, and it is a “pick to go place”, the atmosphere is outdoors with only on picnic table.”

“We went to the shed for a late lunch, and it was amazing as most places in Salado. Before I forget, I want to mention the waitress Lisa, who was amazing and gave amazing customer service! She was very familiar with the menu and had some really good recommendations, which I always enjoy when eating at a restaurant. We had the shed sampler, which was mozzarella sticks, hot wings and chips and salsa. We opted for the Dr Pepper wings (housemate sauce) YUM and and the kickin' bourbon. The ambience is much like something that you would see on diners, dives, and drive-ins. The food was great. My BLT was perfect and I will absolutely make this one of my staples when I'm in Salado.”

“I’m from the east coast and my 10 years living here I haven’t found any place that has a cheesesteak that is as delicious as this cheesesteak. First time having it yesterday at lunch. I live in Killeen but I will drive the 30 minutes just for one of these.”

“Great small food truck. I got my guys tacos for lunch and everyone was pleased got mini pork mini beef and chickens tacos. The min beef with the red sauce was everyone's favorite. That red sauce is hot but good!”

“Oh yes I did! It’s been about 20 years since I’ve eaten a Monte Cristo sandwich and this one did not disappoint. My husband’s burger was also great. Not much for atmosphere, but the food makes up for that. They let us bring a beer from next door. The teenagers running the Friday night were attentive, respectful and seemed to keep busy actually working. Loved it!”

“Best spot in Salado for Lunch or Dinner !If you’re unsure what to order for lunch you can’t go wrong with loaded waffle fries for the table and an Eagle Wing Salad.——Their Queso is the most underrated item on the menu….. it’s so good (it comes on the loaded waffle fries)If you enjoy your time there ask for Bones and let him know of the great experience !”

“Food was hot, fresh, tasty, and filling, but the batter on the chicken tenders wasn't as crunchy as it has been in the past. It would have been nice for them to provide me with a spoon for the coleslaw, a few napkins, and if they are now offering a 44 ounce drink, for it to come with more liquid than the regular size drink. Full to the brim with ice, and then add a splash of soda is not usually how I hope to get an extra large soda.”
