Athens is one of a handful of great downtown lunch options if you work in the area like me or if you get stuck doing jury duty and don't feel like eating the County's cafeteria food. While a little on the pricey side, the portions are absolutely enormous so you will likely get two meals out of a single serving! Food is great, price is good for the amount and quality of the Food, owner gives out samples if asked along with extra sauce sides for free. This is the shop that made me use yelp to write my first review. Pros: well worth the time and money Cons: parking sucks and my plate is empty
Fast, efficient service with friendly, smiling staff. The Greek salad was the best I think I have ever had... wonderfully fresh, crisp, and tasty. The gyro was great. I feel some places use too much salt in the making of gyro components but this tasted great with what seems to be less salt than most.
