“The atmosphere was beautiful, with great jazz music and our favorite singer Ella Fitzgerald. Our server was excellent and offered suggested. Journey accommodated us beautifully with world class customer service. It was a pleasant lunch. The food was delicious and there was a nice selection of wines. A great place to dine. This was our first visit and we will definitely come back again with friends.“
“Went here for a business dinner and it was very enjoyable. Sangria was super delicious, Shrimp Alfredo was flavorful and great portion size, and our server was so nice but I couldn't remember his name(will update when I find out)! Will definitely be back for a personal dinner with my family.“
“Food was excellent (I’m a pizza lover!) My daughter got the kids pasta with meatball- made fresh in house daily, was large and we have a lot of leftovers to take home!Service was great (Jordan was so sweet!) Manager came by to chat with us- seems like they genuinely want to make sure customers are happy. We are getting one in our area in May (building in process), and honestly cannot wait after trying it out here today!*And their white ketchup is delicious! This will definitely be a regular spot for our fam!“
“good but a little mixed I had the Parma that has garlic sauce versus red sauce. I was expecting the prosciutto to be cooked on the pizza. Basically it was like a bread salad with sliced prosciutto. We didn’t like it. But luckily my nephew had the Copa and added pepperoni and it was very delicious.“
“The gelato here was great! Anytime we vacation we like to have gelato so that we can have the affogato. We all loved what we picked. No complaints at all. It is in a busy shopping area, so you may have to drive around for a parking spot.Parking: Busy shopping area, so you may have to drive around a little to get a spot.“
“I walked in to pick up my carry out. I was promptly greeted with a friendly hello. I got the pappardelle bolognese, my husband got the fettuccine Della casa both small, and split the arancini. Everything was delicious. The pasta was cooked perfectly. The sauce had great flavor. My husband thought the flavors married well and liked the crispiness of the pancetta. We both liked the Arancini. It was crispy the outside and a good cheesy texture on the inside. My only little complaint is that the size of the small was a little too small, but we are both big eaters. I highly recommend this restaurant“
“The pizza was wonderful. I loved the flavor of the sauce, however because it was so good I wish there had been more of it. The pizza is SO cheesy it was decadent. The pepperoni was perfect not too greasy and very flavorful. The dough was good hubby would've preferred it a little thinner but that's a personal preference, I liked it the way it was. The only drawback was that you can't enjoy it there when it's nice and hot, and the restaurant is crowded and kind of sad. It made me want to help them fix it up and make it presentable.“
“Kid-friendliness: Love love love how respectful and positive this place is. It is perfect for kids , toddlers, etc ... Everyone will enjoy how delicious their food is ❤️ YOU HAVE TO EXPERIENCE THIS PLACE I LOVED IT ❤️Wheelchair accessibility: There plenty of love in the space it's a wonderful place to eat much love yall that was amazing, its definitely wheelchair accessible ❤️“
“As soon as I walked in Gennaro hooked me up!!!I told him I was a vegetarian, and he specifically made Penne a Rustica for me with no meat and it was amazing. The penne was cooked to perfection, and the sauce was very rich and creamy. You can tell it was made with love. He also recommended a Mexican cola with my meal. The customer service is outstanding. The atmosphere in the dining room was priceless and felt like I was in a movie. You can tell he really enjoys his job as I seen him tend to other customers with such charisma. Y’all please try this place. Oh and Po Po Trattoria, please give Gennaro a raise!!!!!!!“
“The pizza dough was chewy on the inside, lots of toppings and they were very fresh.Service was good, the place was busy for dinner, but we walked in and got seated without any problems. We order the Americana pizza and the prosciutto crudo pizza, they were both great! The pizza came pretty fast also.Overall great pizzeria!Parking: Paid parking $4 an hour near the park about a block away“
“Poppy’s Pizza has been one of our faves for a long time! Serving up some the best pizza pie in San Antonio. The place reminds me of an old school pizzeria the way they should be. Simple and priced right. Not looking for frills just good dang pizza! The staff has always been courteous and accommodating. If you are looking for fast food this ain’t it. Good pizza takes time if it’s made fresh so expect a 20 minute wait, it’s well worth it.“
“Been eating at Aldo's for years and realized I'd never done a write-up. Once again, a wonderful experience. I usually recommend the Osso Buco. This time, our party of five on a Thursday, enjoyed Scampi Colina, Cristina Pizza, a couple Pollo dishes, and Linguine Alle Vongole. Service was excellent as usual. We have never had a bad meal/experience here. They also have a nice selection of wines and desserts which should satisfy a variety of tastes.Dietary restrictions: They do a nice job of addressing dietary issues and make good recommendations for alternate choices.“
“A quaint Pizza joint that makes tasty pizza! The crust is cooked perfectly and compliments the sauce and toppings. I had the supreme sans olives and my wife had a Canadian bacon with pineapple. Apparently they do make margarita pizza, but wasn't listed in the store. I saw it online.Note that there's no public restrooms, but there's a gas station right next door if the need arises. It wasn't crowded so there were plenty of seats available inside. However we wanted to enjoy the weather that day.Totally recommend!“
“A new addition in the recently renovated Fairmont Hotel, this little gem of an Italian restaurant shares its location with Silo, its steakhouse sister. We were seated immediately and service never stopped being very attentive. Decor is smart and clean, greys and whites with marble top tables and comfortable seating. Noise level was low until the restaurant filled and then it became difficult to hold a normal conversation but that seems to be the norm now. The menu is not large but is very inventive and includes some vegetarian options although vegans would be hard pressed to get a meal. The dishes we tried we very good to excellent. The caprese salad was remarkable, fried barata with flavorful tomatos and a smooth pesto. An unusual but incredible combination. Pasta dishes were very good and dessert was a perfect end. The wine list was extensive but there was not a lot of options by the glass. Overall, this is a perfect addition to San Antonio’s fine dining and we give it 4 clams on the coveted Five Quahog Rating Scale ( five stars in the Google scale).“
“My family has been dining at Ezio's restaurants for over 20 years, and I can honestly say we've never had a bad meal. The service is impeccable, the place is immaculate, and the food is divine. Ezio Rosa is a master chef, and it shows in every one of his dishes.Vegetarian options: A few dishes.Parking: Plenty of free parkingWheelchair accessibility: Easy to get in and out of.“
“I drove 47 miles to try this place after seeing it on Facebook. These pictures do NOT do it justice. We were greeted the moment we walked in and were able to pick table. The atmosphere was welcoming and there is a full bar. I bet Friday nights here are something else. The hot wings are PERFECT. We ordered the spicy lemon pepper. They were juicy, cooked to perfection and the flavor is hard to beat. If you are a wing fan, do yourself a favor and grab a beer and a dozen. The waitress recommended the Maxed Out pizza, which was all meat and we added jalapeños. Now look here, this pizza ain’t no big bread tons of tomato sauce pizza . Toppings are definitely king here. They all come together creating this semi Smokey medley of flavor resting on a perfectly cooked bed of pizza dough. At first I was taking the usual bite but do yourself a favor and fold it in half and take it to the head. Like it cheesy? Go ahead and order that flat bread then prepare yourself for that marinara sauce..you’ll thank me later. The place is clean, restrooms are clean, service is great and the atmosphere is easy going. Five stars across the board. I will be back and I am definitely letting everyone know.“
“I came here with my family for a birthday lunch. We were a party of 15 and they were able to accommodate us. They don’t take reservations however they did tell us to call ahead so they could prepare a table for us. We got there and the table was ready. Our service experience was a little slow but let me explain why:1. Jay was the only waitress for the entire restaurant2. There were at least six other tables she was serving with at least three/four people3. Jay was also the only cashier4. Jay was also the only food runner5. Jay was also one of the bussersSo we totally understood. Even though Jay was the only one running the entire front of the house by herself, she stayed calm, nice and the most attentive as she could. She did not look overwhelmed or come off as flustered and she took care of me and my family. Give her a raise!! She did the best she could and I strongly believe if she had help her service would’ve been five stars. We made sure to give her a piece of birthday dessert and a good tip to make sure her effort was noticed. Thank you Jay!As far as the food; the food came out very fast, but it was a 6/10. Nothing fancy, but I may be back again to give it another shot.Again please give Jay a raise. She really deserves it!“
“Try the Italian food here. We had the chicken piccata and wife had the lasagna. Friends had the two specials, see pics. The service was fast, a good atmosphere with some great Italian music by Frank and Dino and the food was delicious and served hot. We loved it all!“
“Albi's always has such a welcoming atmosphere and is a great spot to visit if you're in the mood for some yummy Italian food. The food is hot, quick and delicious and the staff really try their best to accommodate you and your needs. Mimi the owner is very kind and the staff is all great! Shout out to Giovanni for the excellent service and killer management. If Giovanni is on shift you know that you will have the BEST meal and service provided to you. Thanks Albi's family and staff!“
“Cheese Pizza $18* Rating 6.7/10Italian Sub $13* Rating 7.2/10Caveat: Will be coming back, but will ask that both the pizza and sub get cooked longer.Been watching Dave Portnoy’s “One Bite Reviews” and was inspired to check out a local small business pizzeria. The Cheese Pizza I ordered was very slightly undercooked by wood fire standards, but good nonetheless. I’d prefer it to have stayed in the stove another minute or two. The Italian Sub is absolutely massive and very tasty, but also not cooked nearly long enough. The Mozzarella cheese was actually cold and not melted in the slightest. I had to take the sub home and use a cooking torch to finish the job. However, it’s still quite good and, despite the hefty price, is large enough for two people.Kid-friendliness: Park on location and good place to bring kids.“
“I enjoy the very generous portions. Ricotta and blackberry was smooth, creamy, and mild. It didn’t overpower. I was able to mix two flavors together. The environment is exactly what I would expect in Southtown. It’s small and independent.“
“Our first time here as we are from out of town, the wife loves pasta so we picked here based on the reviews (and it was close to the hotel, if I'm being honest.) Food and service were absolutely top-notch. I'm not big on italian food in general (I'm a bbq, burgers and fajita kind of guy,) but even I loved it. Service was VERY friendly, professional, and FAST, even though they had plenty of other tables and a large dinner party. Not cheap but NOT expensive either, no complaints at all. We will be back for sure.“
“I went here for the first time this week with my friend and the food was amazing. You can tell it’s baked from scratch and made with love. The server was very friendly as well. Some of the best Italian I’ve had in a long time! I would recommend everyone to check it out and I will drift wit be coming back for seconds and thirds here!!“
“Their food is amazing, especially considering they occupy a small space near where I live. My Wife is a professional chef, and she noted that their salad dressings tastes like they were made in the kitchen. I recommend the pizza, but really, everything is great and everything comes in very large portions. Sofia's is easily our Plan A if we want to order Italian food.“
“Scuzzi’s never disappoints. Wonderful atmosphere and delicious food! Next time you stop by, be sure to ask for Rudy to be your server because he provides excellent customer service on account of his attentive and personable nature. 10/10 highly recommend!“
“Parking: They have parking the building.Kid-friendliness: There is no play ground but this is not a bar or dive where kids would not be safe.Wheelchair accessibility: Handicapped enabled parking ?️. One side of the restaurant is Astro up to enter the restaurant and I apologize, I don’t recall a ramp for the secondary entrance. Inside the restaurant there are no obstacles to over come whether it be to accommodate your party or the need to use the facilities.“
“We love this little hidden gem. Gorgeous inside and a great little patio that’s welcoming and cool once the sun starts to set. Reasonably priced, and highly recommend the Brie and Mushroom pizza. Best we’ve ever had. The staff is wonderful too.“
“I normally don’t do reviews, but I have to honestly say that this place is a hidden gem. The sauce and the crust of the pizza is amazing. Service was great! I will be back. The best pizza in San Antonio.Kid-friendliness: Customer service is amazing. People friendly.“
“This place is great. Fun people who are friendly. The pizza is properly made in their oven. Crispy crust, not soggy on top. And two huge slices and a fountain drink for $10 is hard to beat. I'm only knocking the atmosphere because it's in the mall. Other wise this place is a must stop 9/10“
“You can’t go wrong with Aldino’s! We dine with our favorite people here regularly and have been coming here for years. The food and service is spectacular. You expect the pasta to be top notch, but finally tried the steak… the most tender filet in town (and we’ve tried them at the highest rated restaurants).“
“We came here for the first time on a random Saturday night, it is kind of small but super cozy. Enough room for about 15 tables or so. They do have reservations quite a lot, assuming it is Valentine's Day weekend - so I would reserve a table for the weekends anyways. It was great service by the staff, dim enough but not too dark, and not loud at all. They do have outdoor seating available as well and I thought it was super cute. We ordered chicken Parmesan and a primavera pasta. Complimentary bread rolls were SO FRESH I regret not taking a picture and the pictures taken of the food don't even compare to the taste. It is so authentic and not your regular Olive Garden, it was so flavorful and I'm a picky Italian food eater! The pastas were devoured and so perfect, along with the tiramisu! Props to the chefs and waiters, 10/10! I will be coming again!!“
“Was lucky enough for them to come to our offices today. I'd heard good things; all were true! The food is excellent, and they don't play around with serving size, you'll have plenty for later. I had the Bob and Timmy 's Pasta with chicken, gouda, mushrooms and tomatoes it's out of this world. Of course I had to try the pizza rolls; just yes.I look forward to more of their visits!“
“Made a pickup order for the pizza rolls and a Pepperoni. The pizza was fantastic. The cheese is top notch, the sauce is good and sweet, the crust is good, and the pepperonis were of a high quality. The order was out FAST. The Rolls are delicious! Must try. I had eaten some before taking pictures and immediately had to stop to make a review. This is the second time we have been here. The first time we had a Supreme. It was good but this time it was fantastic.“
“Went yesterday and sat by the bar and was greeted by a gentleman named Jay. Great attitude and helped recommend me the meatball appetizer. Meat was cooked perfectly and the drinks didn't taste watered down. I then ordered a margarita pizza as well and highly recommend if you go by. Overall was really happy I stopped by and received great customer service from Jay!“
“The food went above expectation. Looks alike a small place from the outside but lots of seating inside with great happy hour specials. You can’t skip out on the pizzas paired with their house cocktails. Great place to catch up with friends or dine solo and chat with the friendly staff.“
“Went there when I was visiting San Antonio with my boyfriend and I can say that this is the best pizza I’ve ever had!! The service, atmosphere, and everything was amazing. I loved the pistachio tiramisu and I don’t even like pistachio. I would definitely travel 600 miles just to eat at this place. 100% recommended!!“
“Great find and a much needed break from the usual. There is a ton of parking. Atmosphere is modern but smart. There is about an equal divide between indoor and outdoor seating, along with a handful of bar seats. Wine menu has several wines rated 90+ points by Wine Spectator. The wine and cocktail menus is focused but more than adequate. Wifey and I are usually winos, but we opted for their speciality cocktails--delicious. Apps were fantastic: burrata, bread, and calamari. She had a seafood pasta dish and I ravioli with short rib meat. Service is excellent. The only negative is the noise level: it's just too damned loud. This can easily improve with sound absorption so that patrons can speak easily.“
“My husband and I had our first date there 7 years ago. We just got married and I had been wanting to take him back. Last night we finally had our first date night and it was so perfect! We had calamari and shrimp Pompeii for appetizers and I had fettuccine Alfredo and my husband had pepperoni pizza. Everything was so delicious! Our waitress was really nice and we had so much fun! Thank you for making our date night so amazing! We will be back again.“
“We came to San Antonio to visit family and they took us out on a quiet Monday. We had the pleasure of Sean as our server, he was very attentive and informed us of the chef’s suggestion for the day. Sean kept our drinks filled throughout our meal and overall provided superb service! On to the food..Let me start off with the warm bread, seasoned olive oil and hummus, delicious! We took forever to look at the menu because we couldn’t stop eating the bread. For the antipasti, we ordered the bruschetta, calamari and the stacked eggplant. Bruschetta was ohhh so good, simply seasoned and perfectly crunchy. The stacked eggplant was my favorite, beautifully cooked, cheesy and I could have eaten that as my entree and stopped there (I’m picky so I can’t tell you about the calamari)I’m already full but then the Caesar salad comes out. I ate half and tapped out when the lemon pepper chicken (no spaghetti, sub mashed potatoes) and green peas came out. Sean kindly boxed my plate for me.We got back to Dallas and heated up the lemon pepper chicken and OH MY GOODNESS! I would drive back to San Antonio just to enjoy Paesanos again! From the quality of the food, beautiful atmosphere and excellent service, it’s definitely a place I will be dreaming about until our next visit.“
“I wanted to give this 5 stars so badly but I couldn’t, I’ll explain why:Pros:Good locationAmple parkingCozy sittingDifferent menu optionsMain entree tasted good (pizzaoila dish)Clean restroomsCons:Soup was luke warm, cold after a few sips(cheese tortillini)Only 8 tables (had to make reservation for a weekday afternoon)Pricey- $53 for me and my wife (was charged regular price drink for my 2 year old daughter)Salad was overly drenched in ranchMale server appeared rude to other clientsIt was a decent experience, but not worth the price IMO, I support locals businesses but changes could be made“
“Ana is really welcoming! The cheese fries came out fresh while we waited for our delicious entrees. Thank you Huebner location for making our lunch date for my husband and I a great experience. We will definitely recommend!Ana is very welcoming! The cheese fries came out fresh while we waited for our delicious main courses. Thanks to the Huebner location for making my husband and I's lunch date a great experience. We will definitely recommend it!“
“The restaurant is very cozy and the sandwiches are great! I was also pleasantly surprised at how friendly the staff was. Everyone was smiling and looked like they were having a great time, even during the lunch rush. The young lady at the counter was exceptionally kind!Highly recommend, I will be returning. Will try their desserts next time!“
“We had a set menu because there was 12 of us. Limited opens but got the spinach dumplings to start of. Give those a 5 out of 5 they were really good and good plate size. Then had the chicken parmasean 4 out of 5, wasn't anything special sauce was good but can't go wrong with a chicken parmasean. The plate was definitely a good size. For dessert got the smores panacata, that was a good 4 out of 5. Tasted really good but was a little too sweet for me(I'm not a sweet person but did enjoy). The atmosphere was nice drinks were really strong. Just took a bit to get plates but food was hot. Fiance also had the 3 cheese meatballs definitely recommended those. He had the parmasean lambchops those were okay felt like they were too breaded.“
“Simple and delicious. I had the supreme pizza with fresh quality toppings. The pizza was filling yet you don't get the bloated feeling. It had a hint of spice and tomato sauce. The staff was polite and efficient. The restaurant was clean, comfortable, and cozy.“
“Been checking this place out for a few weeks. I went in tonight cause I left my dinner at home on the counter, and they just gave me a pizza that another customer called paid for and then decided they didnt want it. So I took it, never had their pizza before, its pretty dang good. Im not even a fan of NY style pizza, im from Buffalo, so Neapolitan is my preferred. Guys at work who i shared it with liked it as well. Would and do reccomend“
“Very fast and friendly service. They have a lot to choose from. Pizza, wings, Italian, subs, cakes, and more. Everything I’ve tried so far has been very good. They have lunch specials as well. Have tv’s on every wall with all kinds of channels for everyone to watch something, even kids channels.Vegetarian options: Some vegetarian dishesDietary restrictions: Have meals for people on dietary restrictionsParking: If it’s busy you may have to walk a bit after parkingKid-friendliness: Kid friendlyWheelchair accessibility: Fully wheelchair accessible“

“Came here for an anniversary sometime last year, I forgot to ever write a review! The service and atmosphere was great, though empty at the time we went in. I got the mushroom risotto and was IN LOVE with it. Dessert was wonderful as well, and while a little pricey I definitely think this has to be one of the better Italian places in San Antonio!“
“Total gem of a place! Service was wonderful. Rigatoni la Sorrento was to die for and I usually won't order pasta at a restaurant. Veal picatta cooked perfect and the sauce was very well done. The pizzas looked great, will have to go back to try them next!“
“Postino has quickly become one of our favorite spots to come hangout after work. Cindy, Tommy, Matthew and Isaiah are truly the best and make every time we come in amazing. Definitely suggest getting the chicken skewers and the Brie, prosciutto and fig panini. <3“
