Poppy’s Pizza has been one of our faves for a long time! Serving up some the best pizza pie in San Antonio. The place reminds me of an old school pizzeria the way they should be. Simple and priced right. Not looking for frills just good dang pizza! The staff has always been courteous and accommodating. If you are looking for fast food this ain’t it. Good pizza takes time if it’s made fresh so expect a 20 minute wait, it’s well worth it.
Ordered pizza for New Year's Eve, we were visiting from out of state. Food was good, garlic rolls were superb. The staff wasn't overly friendly but they weren't rude either. Felt like a place that probably has a decent sized group of loyal local customers. There was stuff kind of piled up in places, so it seemed like people probably got it to go or for delivery. Having said that, it didn't feel dirty at all, still felt very clean and well taken care of.

Great place for wings and pizza! Staff were very friendly and got my food quickly. Their wings are crispy and full of flavor, the pizza was equally as good and a great deal for the price. 10/10 would eat here again.
