Love the toasted taste and the eclectic vibe of this restaurant! This location has a great patio too, so it's great for meeting with your SO and or a friend group. Also love their baked goodies! The folks who work there give awesome service - they're all friendly and very helpful! I first visited the Austin location with my college student then when I saw the sign here in SA I was super excited! And they don't disappoint!! It's truly an awesome shop! This was possibly the best sandwich I've ever had in my life, I had the cheesesteak with everything and my friend had the Reuben which I tried and was also incredible. “Stopped here based on reviews for places in the area. We were not disappointed. Good selection of sandwiches. My daughter had the Italian Sub. I had the Philly Sub and my husband got the Reuben. Loved the bread on all the sandwiches. I only got pictures of mine and my daughter's sandwiches because my husband ate his so fast. The hot sandwiches were hot and fresh. Lots of meat on all 3 sandwiches especially the Italian. You get a side with your sandwich and we got the pickle and it was so crisp and good. “Came here on a Saturday afternoon for a late lunch. It's by itself in this new shopping plaza, so parking and the restaurant was pretty empty. Was able to walk right up and place my order.There's 4 categories of the Chicken Salad from Traditional, Savory, Fruity & Nutty, and Spicy. In addition to the Chicken Salad, there's also Pimento Cheese, Salads, Soups, and Sandwiches. Wanted to try different options, so ordered the Trio which allows you to pick 2 different scoops. Overall, tried the Olivia's Old South, Fancy Nancy, Pimento Cheese, and Jalapeno Holly.Each scoop was good and uniquely different. Being they were just scoops, you were able to taste each flavor without being influenced by the bread of a sandwich. I liked them all and came down to personal preference. They came with crackers for a little crunch. The trio was supposed to include a cookie, but they said they ran out, so can't comment on that part of the meal.It was a good, simple, healthy meal that was good and worth another visit to try some of the other flavors.“

“Such a great little place on the south side! Benny and Maria (the owners) take pride in their shop and it is one of our favorite places to grab a quick bite to eat. Maria makes all the soups herself and they are AMAZING! My favorite is the loaded baked potato soup, but the tomato bisque is excellent as well. I always get the grilled cheese and soup and it hits the spot. Maria's brownies are so yummy and I always make sure to buy an extra one for my dad because they are his favorite. My kids also love coming here for both the food and because they love the outdoor seating area. There is a giant connect four game and space for them to play while we enjoy our food. I always push to try something different, but part of me wondered what yall would be like vs.? DWAM, yalls sandwich was a hit out of the park! The bacon was crunchy, the turkey was sliced, not shredded, and there was a good amount of it vs. what looked like a pinch of the center of the sandwich I had for breakfast. The alvocado was a spread not chopped in cubes, and there was a bite of jalapeño in the sandwich. I got it Lenny's way with no additional charge and was given more for a 10 inch for less than my breakfast.“

“I ordered the broccoli cheddar soup online and went in to pick it up. It was 2pm and not busy at all. My food was ready for pick up and I brought it back to my job to eat. The soup was delicious and I wish they offered it in bigger sizes than a cup. I ate it all in less than 5 minutes. It was hot and tasty. Highly recommend.“

I ended up going with the pork belly sandwich and french onion soup. I was not prepared. The portions exceeded my expectations. The pork belly had a fantastic crisp to it and was greatly complimented with the spread and pickled onions. My only issue is that I'm going to have to drive back here to eat the rest of these sandwiches.“
