“Small little hole in the wall place...well actually a small little building but with some of the best bbq ever. I love coming here and just eating whatever I want. This place has some good tasting bbq and the plates are well served. From the meats to the sides everything has such a real good taste. The kind of food that you eat and you just want to eat some more simply for the fact that is was so good and tasty...I mean the kind of taste that leaves you wanting more.”

“Went in for a quick bite, the man working was super kind and helpful! Took a bite of what was the best carne asada quesadilla I've ever had, the meat was cooked fresh. The tables were all very clean and the place in general looked very clean and tidy. He cleaned the grill after cooking my quesadilla so that was extremely reassuring. All in all 20/10 I'll definitely be back! (The food is also very cheap or what I consider cheap for SD)”

“My family and I are from Phoenix, Arizona my mother's cousin took us here. My mom and I ordered the Jalisco Pollo (I hope I spelled that right) and margaritas. This was some of the best small town food, margaritas, and the service was exceptional with an enjoyable atmosphere. If I ever drive through San Diego, Texas, again in the future. I will definitely stop by to eat here again.”

“This is my favorite Church's Chicken in the area...for the most part there chicken always comes out top notch. I'm thinking it's the fact that they change there frying oil on a constant basis. It can also be thaw fact that they are on there A game. I know of people that come from the surrounding area just to get there fried chicken from here.”

“The one and only San Diego Tortillas...probably some of the best tasting homemade store bought tortillas out there. You can freeze them and when ready thaw them out and they still taste like homemade tortillas fresh of the fire.”

“Beef and chicken Enchiladas were a must try. Beef taco n Carne guisada was great as well. The refried beans were perfect. Comes with a small pack of crackers. No tortillas on the side. The price wasnt to expensive either in my opinion. Will be going back”

“Compared to our last experience with a Whataburger location while on the road, there was a little bit of PTSD walking into this place. It definitely helps that we have visited this location a couple of times and have always had solid experiences. This experience was no different. There was a little bit of a wait, but we had our food within minutes. Order was 100% correct, they made sure we had napkins, ketchup, all the things. When you have a 9-year-old and are in a restaurant in an area that is not your stomping ground, you just don't want to get up and leave her alone no matter the environment. Even though it was right around lunch time when we visited, they made us seem like we were the only ones there in the place. Faster and more polite than 99% of the Whataburgers here in the DFW area that I have ever been to. Shows that management here knows what they are doing. No flies, no weird smells like the one near Corpus Christi that we will certainly never visit again. We will keep coming back to this awesome Whataburger in Alice!”
