“My friend and I started a new holiday tradition this year! We went to Cody's for dinner last night. We had a 5:30 reservation and were quickly seated. It was fairly empty when we got there, but got busier as the night went on.Service was impeccable. Food was delicious. We shared a bottle of wine, $10 off during happy hour, burrata and milk bread as an appetizer. So good!!! For our meal, we had the pork chop and flat iron steak and brussel sprouts. The steak was cooked perfectly. The brussel sprouts were delicious!!!For dessert we had the carrot cheesecake.Everything was so good! We would definitely go back!“
“Amazing spot, especially for gluten-sensitive or those affected by Celiac disease (whose ranks I have been in for over half my life). All of their sides are gluten-free and come out crunchy, hot, and fresh. The gluten-free burger bun doesn't break apart after the first bite, which is a common problem with many other establishments that offer a gluten-free option, and the burger itself is tasty and fresh. Even the soda was more crisp and bubbly than I'm accustomed to from a drive-thru window. 10/10 - will absolutely be back.“
“I didn't go into there location one the pit chefs came to my salon and persuaded me to try. When I tell you the juicy brisket melted in my mouth it was unreal. Seasoning was on point don't change it ever. The fat actually melted...I don't eat fat and I ate it. He did tell me that they do a little of out source when it came to some sides but, the potatoes salad was good I can't rank it when I like both with or without mustard. Beans were bussin' no like. Sausage if you do not like a drier texture of sausage maybe find some else but we raised on deer sausage over and I love a drier sausage. Over all I will be eat from there again. Shout to Pedro I see cheffing it up!! Also hurry up and get the Wimberley location open so I can bring some of my friends.“
“Went for event and front desk was friendly. We asked for housekeeping, but bed was never made, however they were nice gentlemen. The ac was not cool enough and bath items inside were not full, so with 4 people to a room, was not enough. The event dinner had no flavor and didn't know what half the items were. Bartender was friendly and the pool and hot tub were nice.“

“Usually always good food . Today I think a local hockey team came in to eat. I think they left a puck on a plate and I got it. I ate everything off the top of the biscuit. I told the waitress and was offered another biscuit. I had already finished. My fork just bounced off the top of the biscuit. Was told that all they could do was just another biscuit. Did not want much except to hopefully have the kitchen not put a super hard burnt biscuit on a plate and basically say oh well.“
“Wow! Came here because of our son's recommendation. What an amazing place! The vibe feels like an old school diner. Breakfast is served all day, and the menu is quite large. Highly recommend the Three Amigos appetizer (guacamole, salsa & queso with chips) & chicken fried steak / eggs. For dessert, they have a variety of pies, and the ones we had were outstanding as well.As you can see from the pics, the food looked great. Everything tasted so fresh & was full of flavor. If you're around the San Marcos area, do yourself a flavor and visit this place. You won't be disappointed!Parking: we parked around the corner, behind the building, and parking was free.“
“Location is the highlight! We sat on the patio while the sun set and tons of folks floating, paddling, and swimming in the river. Food was good, avocado toast and BBQ Mac n' cheese were the highlights. Brisket and coleslaw not so much. Service was slow, our server preferred hanging out with younger customers and chatting, but overall good and will return.“

The staff was polite, we had a reservation and was seated immediately, but there was seating for anyone who may of had to wait. I ordered my steak medium rare, and it was cooked to medium rare! Loaded baked potato was served correctly and the toppings weren't spilling out, great job. I could have guessed they were possibly short staffed or had some computer issue, but the staff seemed to work together to overcome it! Bathroom could have used some minor attention, but we all know that could have happened 5 minutes earlier from the last customer, I don't blame the staff. If in the area, I will be happy to go back!“
“Our new favorite brunch spot in San Marcos! Stopped by here while driving through. We shared the steak and eggs Benedict and the corned beef hash. Everything was delicious and went well together. Perfectly seasoned. We'll be coming back to try other menu items for sure. Decor is nice and staff is courteous.“
“I love visiting this Twin Peaks to see the NHL games and eat + drink. Last night, Alannah stood out to me. She made sure my drinks came out quickly, as well as my food. She was even patient enough to swap the TV channel for me a few times to keep up with all the hockey games. She is a fantastic waitress and I cant wait to come back for the NHL playoffs!“
