My wife and I very much like the fried chicken at Gills Fried Chicken. The breading is not overly heavy and the flavor is nice. The sides are very substantial and tasty. On a recent visit my wife and I had the two piece all white with two sides, okra and cole slaw. The quantity of the sides is large and the flavor very good. This place has gone down hill ?The tenders aren’t as big like they used to be. Really small tenders now. The gravy was just water. The fries were the best part of the meal. Service was not bad but the food quality was lacking during lunch rush of all times. Tenders were cold, old and small. I was raised on this place. It’s not the same…

Great place, great service, great quality delicious food. Fried chicken, fried fish, Mac and cheese, fried okra, French fries, and tarter sauce. Everything was delicious ?. Definitely will be going back.
