Nice Mexican restaurant. Nothing fancy, but good mexican dishes. Some inconsistency lately. May be due to chef change, I don't really know. We ordered flautas on two different occasions, plates looked completely different. They were good though. Waitstaff is always friendly. Portions adequate for prices. Overall: good little lunch spot.
This place is on the higher end of meh Mexican food, the portions are normal for a Mexican restaurant, but the tortas are poorly filled, very disappointing. The salsa and chips were good. Now let's talk about pricing.. uh, hell no! This place is extremely overpriced for what they serve. In no way would I ever return or suggest to anyone. The food was meh! The portions were meh and the prices were to high. There are better places..

Native Houstonian living out of state on a trip to visit family. Craving REAL Tex-Mex! Son suggests meeting at a place on Aldine Westfield. I’m like it’s gotta be good then ?. Very friendly service, great selection and true Texas style Mexican food! Had queso with chorizo to start. Excellent! Next was chicken mole which I was craving. Very good as well!! Definitely worth the trip!!
