“Came by for lunch with wife. We shared a chicken crunch roll, had spicy tonkatsu ramen, and the wife had a spicy miso ramen. All was yummy. And the atmosphere at the time was not packed and very quiet. I will come again and would recommend to others.“

“Food is amazing and fresh, not to mention the great price! Portions are normal-large scale, and the atmosphere is cozy yet has a certain food stall feel to it. Service was fast, and they didn't let your cup go empty for long. I drive 30-40 min fight traffic on I45 to get here.“
“I am truly disappointed.....I just discovered this place! It is a hidden gem. Who would have thought a restaurant of this caliber would be located in a strip center with a Target. It is a MUST if you are a true sushi lover. From the moment my husband and I stepped in the door we were impressed. Then we saw the menu. Sadly we were not able to order everything off the menu, but we did try. Our server, Alex, was on point. He answered all questions without hesitation and was extremely helpful with suggestions based on what we like and what we don't like. If you're a Food Snob, like myself, you'll appreciate the quality, and presentation of the food. As far as the drinks, The Lychee Martini! That's all I need to say about that. This place is simply OUTSTANDING and we're very fortunate to have such an establishment in our neighborhood. I was able to speak with the manager, Jaros about our wonderful experience and expressed our joy of finding it. He was extremely friendly and it was obvious why the establishment, along with the employees, is top notch! Great manager = great employees. It's not the most attentive servers, but it seems designed to be a very private, no stress meal. (By no means are the servers inattentive, it's more that they give you room to enjoy your meal without interrupting you every 10 minutes) Every time I get my bill I'm shocked it wasn't more expensive. “Long over due review. I usually place orders and pickup, but I also dine in occasionally. My recommendations are: Rainbow, Shaggy Dog, Beef tataki (spicy), Out of control and Phoenix rolls, Entrees I like are Chiraishi and Tempura (seafood combination). By the way, I think Akashi has the best tempura dishes around. I like that the tempura items (either fish shrimp or veggie) are not oily and have a good crispy texture. Also, try the Red Snapper teriyaki (weekdays lunch) and appetizers Hamachi kama and gyozas. Thanks for the delicious food Akashi, keep it up!Parking: Enough parking spaces around. We have never had issues regarding this aspect.“
“after comparing several chinese restaurant i came to conclusion that this restaurant had the best reviews in Spring, TX north side of houston. as i Left home i ordered over the phone, the gentleman was very polite and informed me the food will be ready when i will arrive. upon arrival i was greeted with a nice welcome. the food Looked so good that i had to order one more, which i am glad that i did. the customer service was so good that i wanted to give them 5 stars right away. when we tried the shrimp fried rice, it was so delicious. the shrimp was perfect and the rice was perfect as well. quantity of shrimp was so much more and quality was excellent. also i just like to mention the atmosphere and dining area of this restaurant is so wonderful that i want to eat at this fancy restaurant next time. thank you everyone at Jing Xin for making such an amazing experience for me while i ordered the most delicious shrimp fried rice in the world.“
“The food at this restaurant is the best that my son and I have ever had, his favorite is the chicken teppanyaki and mine is the scallion fish a must have. The atmosphere is delightful with the goldfish aquarium and relaxing decor. And Jane the manager there is very welcoming and gracious, as are the servers. Shogun (on 2920) is definitely a place to come for a delicious meal with friends and family. A+“
