“Came by for lunch with wife. We shared a chicken crunch roll, had spicy tonkatsu ramen, and the wife had a spicy miso ramen. All was yummy. And the atmosphere at the time was not packed and very quiet. I will come again and would recommend to others.“

“I am truly disappointed.....I just discovered this place! It is a hidden gem. Who would have thought a restaurant of this caliber would be located in a strip center with a Target. It is a MUST if you are a true sushi lover. From the moment my husband and I stepped in the door we were impressed. Then we saw the menu. Sadly we were not able to order everything off the menu, but we did try. Our server, Alex, was on point. He answered all questions without hesitation and was extremely helpful with suggestions based on what we like and what we don't like. If you're a Food Snob, like myself, you'll appreciate the quality, and presentation of the food. As far as the drinks, The Lychee Martini! That's all I need to say about that. This place is simply OUTSTANDING and we're very fortunate to have such an establishment in our neighborhood. I was able to speak with the manager, Jaros about our wonderful experience and expressed our joy of finding it. He was extremely friendly and it was obvious why the establishment, along with the employees, is top notch! Great manager = great employees. “Food is amazing and fresh, not to mention the great price! Portions are normal-large scale, and the atmosphere is cozy yet has a certain food stall feel to it. Service was fast, and they didn't let your cup go empty for long. I drive 30-40 min fight traffic on I45 to get here.“
“We walk in and we are greeted with the friendliest hello. The atmosphere was inviting and fun. The music was great and added something new to our dining experience. We sat at the bar where Chris took our experience to a whole new dimension. Not only did he offer our palate a new perspective he offered stimulating conversation filled with humor, trivia knowledge, and amazing suggestions for those of us that are new to the area. Chris gave us a brief history of his location which made us feel like we were regulars. His attentiveness set a new standard that we will come to expect from any established we come upon. “My mother and I are the only two people in our family who are big on sushi. Unfortunately, our previously preferred sushi place did not survive the pandemic. And she has moved , so we have been looking in a different area to find some place that suits us both.Originally, we were looking at a popular chain, but Fujiya popped up on my search, so we figured we'd check it out.Extremely charming interior! We very much had fun looking at the parasols on the ceiling.We both wanted a little something to drink. My hot sake was tasty, but mom had a little bit of trouble with the house cab. Staff quickly fixed the situation, however.Annoyingly enough, I have a sesame allergy. This is difficult for many sushi restaurants, but I truly do enjoy sushi, so I still try. They were incredibly gracious about it and willing to work with me.Our waitress was attentive and kind.We started off with some spicy edamame and spring rolls, delicious.And then we moved on to sushi.My mother had the Spiderman roll, and I tried the black angel and the kiss of fire.Spectacular.My mother ended up stealing a third of my black angel roll. James took care of me start to finish, I was able to get here while it wasn't so packed, so that was a plus. I ordered the Takoyaki, the Crispy House Roll, and some Chicken Shoyu Ramen.
