“This place is truly a hole in the wall charm & the pizza is always a winner with comments in parties/gatherings . My only complaint is that they are stingy with their Parmesan cheese & red pepper flakes . They will only give you one for each for any size of pizza & if you ask for more they will only give you one more of each . That’s the only reason why I refuse to give them 5 stars .“

“Russo's located at 403C in Sugarland was absolutely the best pizza and pasta my family has had. I got the shrimp fra diavolo and it was divine, it came out hot and fresh. The shrimp was perfectly cooked and the sauce tasted like nonna was cooking it on the stove all day. It had a kick of spice to awaken your taste buds into a dancing frenzy. My teen got the chicken Alfredo and you can tell it was made with love. The sauce was a warm hug that embraced your tongue like a symphony of good memories and the pasta was perfectly cooked, tender flavorful chicken to round out the dish. Everything was hot and fresh. Everyone was friendly and attentive. What a hidden gem this place was. “This place is near my house and after having a horrific experience with Pizza Hut delivery a few weeks ago, I decided a PICK-UP order at this place was a better idea than trying the Hut again. We ordered a large hand-tossed pizza and an order of pasta. The pasta was good. Tasty, properly cooked, and an appropriate portion. The pizza toppings were good. The sauce wasn't bad, but tastes basically like canned/jarred sauce. I'm not sure if they make their own sauce, but they should consider making it a little spicier. It was a little bland, but wasn't bad tasting. Just pretty ordinary. The hand-tossed crust was a little chewy on the outside, witha. sort-of bagel texture. I actually liked it pretty well. The service is a little weird. If you are paying by CC, they want your number over the phone even for a pick-up order. I wasn't totally comfortable with that. Since I'm going there in person, I felt I could just present my card when I got there. Arriving there, there was a sign that said STOP, wait in your car...Kinda weird. Went back and waited in the car and sure enough they came out with the order after a few minutes. Would've been helpful to tell me about that on the phone, considering we had a pretty lengthy conversation that included giving a CC number. I will probably go back here for another order, but I may stick with pasta, which I think was better than the pizza.“
“Decided to try something new and so glad we did. Tried the meat and cheese pizzas and spaghetti with meatballs, which came with a garden salad and garlic bread. Good potion sizes. Noticeably fresh ingredients. Might be the best spaghetti I’ve ever had. The pizza ingredients and tomato sauce were so fresh! Service was outstanding. Only improvement could have been better restocking and cleaning the bathroom. But we will def be back!“

“Listen...when I tell you the customer service here was TOP NOTCH...I MEAN JUST THAT!!! My friends and I were wanting to have an extremely last minute Christmas Dinner...as I didn't know they were going to be leaving town so soon!!! Well...we get there about an hour and a half right before closing (I was the first to arrive) on Friday, December 22nd...Usually, (in my previous experiences) when you go to any restaurant in general...that late...the staff can be a little bit testy and give pitiful service...as they are all ready to go and call it a night!!! Trust me...I used to be a waiter so I know how it feels when fools like us come in at the last minute...That was not the case with the staff that night...again, I showed up first...ordered a glass of wine from the bar and waited for my peeps to get there!!!Now, I have to be completely honest. That glass of wine tasted horrible!!! Rather than complain I simply left my drink at the bar paid my tab and left the bar tender a tip...I didn't want to be "that guy"!!! My friends finally get there...and for some reason on that cool rainy night...they decided they wanted to sit outside!!!Our kick @$$ waiter JESUS couldn't have provided better service or made us feel any more comfortable than we were. It turned out to be a great night and an incredible dining experience!!!It wasn't until the middle of our actual meal that the Bartender and the Manager suddenly pop out to the patio area and asked why I had left the glass of wine at the bar...I explained to them exactly why...and when I tell you they took care of things in a way I was not expecting...I was extremely impressed!!! SO...BIG SHOUT OUT TO THE BARTENDER AND MANAGER FOR HANDLING THAT...most of all going ABOVE AND BEYOND WHAT YOU NEEDED TO...its the little things that count...and the manner in which you handled it was incredibly kind and professional. I will never forget that!!!My friends had been to this restaurant many times before...this however, was my very first visit...IT MOST DEFINITELY will not be my last!!!THANK YOU...FOR NOT ONLY PROVIDING INCREDIBLE SERVICE...but unknowingly, making our Christmas dinner together...that much more special!!! I am so glad that this pizza store is halal, because halal meat comes from animals that are treated far better than factory meat and it makes it taste all the better.
