“This place is amazing; food, drinks, owners and staff. New favorite spot in Taylor. ? You can tell there is a ton of thought and passion behind all the lil details.Went in for the first time last Friday, we met the owners and staff. They were awesome genuine people. Got the sense this is their “love what you do and you’ll never work a day in your life” kind of set up.The food was well crafted. We got the OG, smoked chicken pozole, and the green chili pork. All three were perfection. I hear they have a killer burger on Fridays, you have to get there early to get one. ‘Doesn’t matter how many they throw on the grill, they sell out.’Drinks! I got the martini… one of the best I’ve ever had. That means a lot.The place felt spacious but warm and welcoming. Music was great!***Ended up counting down the days until they were open again and went back for more. ?Vegetarian options: It’s a small menu, so not a ton of options. But 2 of the 6 items are vegetarian. Salad w/ tofu, brussels, and then there are some options for sides. Kimchi, cucumber salad, vin coleslaw, etc.”

“Had a sausage wrap and some brisket, it was so delicious! Spicy barbecue sauce was yummy and not too spicy as what I thought it would be. Hands down, 10 out of 10. Friendly service as well, thank yall ☺️”

“Ordered 3 different pupusas to go - bean and cheese, squash and cheese and beef. They were all fantastic and the red sauce and pickled cabbage that came with them were to die for! Will definitely be going back for more!”

“This place has pretty good coffee and breakfast sandwiches. Wish they had more pastry options and that parking was a little easier. It is better for working or when strolling through downtown, not as quick to get in and out for on the go coffee and breakfast.”

“Great value for your money. It's all home made. They're a little light on the seasoning but still five stars. They're very friendly and accommodating. Plus it's 3-4 minutes from the Taylor Samsung facility. Can't beat it for what I've found in Taylor so far. It's not a bunch of classically trained French chef's. This is Grandma's house. ?? ”

“Delicious breakfast tacos! Their freshly made flour tortilla is so good that it makes any meal extra. The staff is very friendly and attentive, too. Highly recommend restaurant.”

“It's a real chill spot to drink beer and play pool if the table is open. Their whole menu is good, but the hidden gem is their unbelievably good cheese sticks.”

“Came on a Saturday, got in line outside the door at 11:45am. Beef rib and chicken were sold out by the time we got to the counter. Fatty brisket was very delicious, so was the spicy sausage. Side are on point too, pinto beans and green beans are my favorite. When you walk in you know this place is legit: smoke stained black walls and ceiling, meat sold by the pound. This has been my family's favorite BBQ for three generations.”

“We arrived for dinner at 6:45 and were pleased that the place looked busy but not such as we’d have to wait for a table. The atmosphere and decor is absolutely divine!! The staff were all welcoming and friendly.We started with chips (homemade) and queso. Tasty! I had Mom’s Meatloaf with loaded mashed potatoes (because they were out of baked potatoes) with deviled eggs as a side. I recommend you order the tomato sauce topping for the meatloaf on the side. It was too sweet for my taste but I saw others enjoying it on their meatloaf. My husband got the chicken fried steak with the cowboy caviar which he said was delicious.We ended by sharing a slice of the lemon blueberry pie and, OMG(!!), don’t leave Plowman’s without having dessert!I will be sure to add Plowman’s Kitchen to our rotation of favorite sit down restaurants.”

“Great tasting BBQ and country sides. Moist brisket, pork ribs (short and long) and sometimes mutton. (Wow) I enjoy my BBQ sauce on the side for dipping my bread instead of on my meat's.Desert's available cakes and cobbler's. Also a few grocery items. Meat's from the freezer and can good's. Friendly folk. But there early, or call, because they do run out of stuff.Continued success to you now and in the future.Parking: Easy access in and out leading to Main Street.”
