“I hadn't been to a Grandy's in decades, so when I saw there was on in Texarkana, I knew I had to stop in and grab a bite. This restaurant not only brought back a ton of nostalgia, but the food was also delicious. Everyone was very happy with their meal and the Sinnamon Rolls and Funnel Cake Fries we had for desert. The restaurant was clean and in good shape and very clean. Also, the staff was wonderful, very friendly and outgoing. They were everything people working with the public should be. Thank you all so much for bringing back a bunch of good memories and helping to make a new one. Here is hoping we will be back as soon as possible to make some more.“

“Excellent wait service by Jax@@n. He was very courteous and respectful, and checked on me throughout the meal. Cashier staff were also very friendly. However, the seating area and bathroom were absolutely filthy. Layers of grime and grease over everything, including the railings, floors, bathroom stall and entry doors, stacked up highchairs that i could see. Litter everywhere on the floors, including the kitchen floor which I was facing. Trash bins were overflowing.“
“Thank you Mr. TJ, for an amazing dining experience! We are still mind blown at the quality and flavors of our lunch. This little gem of a restaurant is clean and efficient. First, I was in awe of the service; I called to check that they were opened for lunch and Mr. TJ texted me their menu ahead of time. The extensive menu made it so hard to decide what to get but we got: gumbo, smothered oxtail with southern greens and candied yams, and chicken wings with cajun fries and cabbage. You can taste the care and passion put into the food. The oxtail was so tender and every bite a flavor explosion. The gumbo was spicy and filling. The wings, crispy and tender, just wonderful! Mr. TJ said some of these recipes have been in his family 4 generations! Every dish tastes homemade, like something your mom or grandma has made. If you're in the Texarkana area, you must stop in! Also, the sweet tea is the best I've ever had and perfect to go with your meal! Thank you for a wonderful meal!“
