“Our new go-to neighborhood fave. Margaritas are great! The brisket tacos are delicious, and I also recommend the Chichenitza combo appetizer platter has all the good stuff. Wait staff is very attentive, and the atmosphere is laid back and casual.“
“I could eat these tacos every single day, and I'd probably devour around 10 of them because they are incredibly delicious. The place typically has a fast-moving line due to their efficient service and system. While there are a few benches available, I usually prefer taking my food to go,“
“Trying another local joint. This little hole in the wall is definitely closer to back home(956 RGV/MX border). It has a small menu and a handful of tables to sit at but totally worth it. The flavor on their meat is top notch and the street tacos are filled to the brim. We ate, sang along to the tejano music, drank Mexican Cokes and watched the older lady behind the counter make tortillas from scratch. Very friendly staff, clean, and the salsa is actually spicy(that's a first so far up here). We will definitely be back.“
“Visited this small restaurant in Tomball on the advice of friends. The service was excellent and the food was quite good. I had the Enchiladas Verde and enjoyed them. Also had a margarita on the rocks, no salt that was really good. We will definitely be going back again.“
“Parking: Good many, at times you have to wait for a parking place.Food is good for the wait.Kid-friendliness: Have games that kids can playhouse swing . SendThey walk around give free food coupons.Coupons are nice but the food is great. Never have gotten anything bad hereThe owner make you feel right at home. They are so friendly. They will even take your order.Their children work here also. They have karaoke that always so fun to watch.Their children are so talented. They get the kids to get into the fun“
“Was pleasantly surprised. Driving up, we weren’t sure what we were getting into. Service was very slow (not sure why, because they had 4 waitstaff with 8 occupied tables….perhaps they were doing the cooking too.The veggie and beef fajitas were excellent. They used tender juicy beef and grilled to perfection. The veggies were awesome. The queso was really good despite the unnatural orange color.Salsa was quite bland.“
“The lunch "special Mexican plate" was perfect, very hot, delicious! Their big burrito is awesome, their street tacos are awesome. At lunch time they give you queso with you chips n salsa. Great staff as well! My new go to! Flauta was hearty and flavorful. The crunchy taco that came with the special Mexican plate also had season ground beef which is unusual for Mexican, but was delicious“
“Went for breakfast tacos and was very satisfied with what I got. Having been here before, I knew what to expect. the price is very reasonable, and the food is very good. Will continue to go there for an inexpensive meal that is of good quality.“
“I have been coming here about 3 to 4 days a week for the past year and this is by far the best Mexican restaurant I have ever eaten at. The food is phenomenal and the staff is great. Anna and her team go above and beyond in ensuring the customers are their main priority and have always treated us like we were family. We are moving soon but will definitely be traveling an hour back there for great food and to visit some great staff.“
“Mega Meltz has the best Boudian balls! Also my husband tried the Tasso grilled cheese (scrumptious) and the owner offered to make our daughter a custom Mac'n'Cheese... we will be back!Great place to stop in Tomball (the bar has wine and beer). This truck in particular is our favorite!Kid-friendliness: Small plates, ala carte, a grassy play area, friendly atmosphere.“
“Very enjoyable place. Not your typical Mexican restaurant. Did not have to have rice and beans as sides. Salsa was flavorful and had some pico to add fullness. A bit above average price points for restaurants on the area at at about $20 at least. Are inside rather than wait but a pleasant patio “
“We have always enjoyed eating here. But we recently went for their new weekend breakfast and were very impressed. It was delicious!!!! Perfect eggs, meats, beans, salsa…And I guess no one knows yet that they are open for breakfast because it wasn’t busy. So we had excellent service and quickly got our order.Must try for Mexican breakfast!!We can’t wait to go back.“
“The best tacos you will ever have. The owner is super friendly and often in the place. The head chef is a sweetheart. He went out of his way to be loving and kind to my grandma, and when she got ill, he made sure to come give her a hug when we got her out. These tacos were some of the last things we were able to get her to eat, and those moments of her enjoying her taco and chatting with the staff here are fond memories.I've been coming here for years, since high school over 10 years ago, and will always make a point to grab some when able.Best damn tacos in Texas & the best people too.Vegetarian options: They let you customize any dish. Perfect for dietary restrictions of any kind.Dietary restrictions: Fully able to customize your meal.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramps, parking, and easy seating.“
“A nice little spot with great food and service. Our server Melissa did a great job handling our large group of 13. The complimentary salsas are delicious with a nice citrusy green sauce and savory spicy red, so it was really easy to fill up on chips. We also had a couple of bowls of queso, which is always a can't miss, especially with kids. I ordered a chimichanga with beef fajita and the fajitas were delicious. Even the kiddos at the table wanted pieces of the beef and chicken, despite mainly sticking to Mac and cheese for their meals. The restaurant is currently well decorated for Christmas and just had a very welcoming vibe. They weren't crazy busy on a Saturday afternoon so there was plenty of parking and a large table waiting. They have a large patio area for outdoor dining, also. Do stop by if you're in the area and want some good Mexican food!Parking: Plenty of parking right out front. They have their own lot with nice wide spaces.“
“Great place for a quick dinner in the area, food is always good! Staff is great! Yes service is a little bit more slow when it’s rush hour because this place gets packed! Over all we love it, we go at least once a week maybe twice! Thank you ?“
“Food was pretty good, atmosphere was basically a sports bar, which wasn't great. Service people were so kind and considerate, they did great.Vegetarian options: Barely any options, have to do replacing, most workers know little English tho so you gotta work around that ~ they're rly accommodating if you ask tho!!“
“Good across the board authentic Mexican place with a pretty diverse menu and very reasonable prices. Live music some days, super cheap margaritas at happy hour. Not as flashy and food is more plain than what you'll find at the bigger name places but it's popular enough with the locals, both Mexican and Caucasian. Open for breakfast too.“
“Charming couple who are eager to please after taking over this taqueria two months ago. Their charro beans are divine, and they make their own tortillas! The tacos are delicious and reasonably priced for their size and quality. I want to try their pupusas next time!“
“The lady taking our order was very kind and patient. It's not a drive thru but you can place an order and pick it up.The quesabirrias are delicious! The birria is full of flavor that bursts in your mouth when you take a bite of the quesabirria. The dipping sauce compliments it very well. Most places it's too watery or too bland. Today, I'm back for the street tacos! They ran out of bistek so I went with the fajita. I'm hoping they're just as delicious as the quesabirrias.“
“I hate to be this person but this time I got 3 ice creams ( 1 trole and 2 milk base ice creams) and they just didn’t taste right, coconut ice cream tasted like fridge as well as the mango trole that I got, I hope they can fix this problem by covering the ice cream at nights and maybe clean the “
“La atención de la señora que toma los pedidos en el punto de la Edgebrook es un asco, siempre está con un carácter y actitud inadecuado, la comida es muy rica pero está señora los opaca, la verdad no recomendaría este lugar por la atención tan pésima de esta señora.“
“Usually I won't leave a review after just one visit, but this place has it down. Had the Acapulco Dinner and it was spot on with really good enchilada sauce and cheese, well seasoned taco meat and a tasty salsa with what I believe was chips made in house. The margaritas were also good, but different for sure. I don't know what the taste was, not bad, but it didn't even taste like alcohol so one large one was enough. Service was also really good, respectful and attentive without being too much.Overall really good and added to my favorites for when I'm. On the north side of town.Kid-friendliness: Kids are everywhere here, it's totally fine!Wheelchair accessibility: ADA compliant and easy access.“
“Salsa was fantastic! It was warmed and flavorful. Queso was pretty good too. I ordered the 3 Tacos with Rice and Beans. Very tasty and the shells were nice and crunchy. Didn't fall apart or anything. Only issue regarding the food - too much lettuce and not enough shredded cheese on the tacos. Otherwise, pretty good meal and the price was affordable.Service issue: We arrived between the 11a-3p designated time for Lunch Special pricing and were denied the discount when ordering the food. When asked for an explanation as to why we weren't eligible, the staff told us that we needed to arrive, order our food, and pay the bill before 3pm or else we wouldn't receive the Lunch Special pricing. I have never experienced this at any other restaurant. We ordered our food before the Lunch cutoff time of 3pm. It just doesn't make any sense.“
“Brunch here on Easter Sunday was delicious! A refreshing change from typical TexMex, with bright, fresh flavors. We split the Huevos Motulenos and an order of guacamole. It was a beautiful presentation and the flavors worked so well together - kudos! The salsa had a smokey tomato base and guacamole was perfect. Yummy Jamaica tea, too! This central Mexican food is a delight!“
