“Holy smokes! I’ve lived in Temple for 7 years and this is the best restaurant I’ve been to just a quick drive north. Awesome place, everyone was super friendly and knowledgeable about the entire menu. I had the Tri-tip sandwich with the soup of the day and could eat it everyday for the rest of time. We will be back as soon as I’m hungry again!”

“I recently dined at Jaliscos Troy Mexican Restaurant and had a fairly good experience. The food was flavorful and authentic, with a nice selection of traditional Mexican dishes to choose from. The service was friendly and attentive, making the meal pleasant overall. The prices were reasonable for the portion sizes offered. “The best subway in the world. I kid you not. Cleanest! So clean, I'd wish it were a training facility for all other subways (not just the ones housed inside travel centers either)! Clean presentation, clean CSRs, clean hospitality, and clean facilities with properly made soups & cookies! “Delightful coffee shop in a renovated home. There was plenty of parking, though it was busy. A wheelchair provides access directly from the parking lot. A grassy area with a playground sits in the back with a view from the deck for easy supervision. Multiple rooms and a front porch with a variety of furniture provide comfortable seating. Free wifi. The humungous chocolate chip cookie was dense but soft, big enough to share between two or three people, although you will want to eat it all. The cheesecake tastes homeade--definitely some of the best around. The matcha is a little sweet, but frothy and heartening. Welcoming atmosphere. Will come again!Parking: Approximately 30 spaces. Busy, but there were 5 or 6 spots available around lunchtime on a Wednesday.Kid-friendliness: Outdoor playground with a fence on three sides overlooked by a deck.Wheelchair accessibility: Handicapped parking spaces with a ramp to the building.”

“Drinks were good. We got two beers and I got a watermelon seltzer which they make! We ordered the brisket nachos separately at the table. After 45 min I went to ask if they were coming because we where starting to get ready to want to leave. They said there was a bunch of orders and they should be working on them next. A few minutes they came out and were cold. Makes me feel like they had been sitting there and just not brought out. The size and quality was fine. It was busy and I acknowledge they were doing their best. Would not stop me from returning.Staff is very friendly.”

However, Suzy Q's is a great addition to take over that space.”

“Stopped in for my first time. Construction is everywhere in this area of Temple. A very quaint and soothing atmosphere inside. Limited food menu, but the bakery, coffee and flavored drinks gives you that special need.”

This was our 98th BBQ stop in Texas, and the 397th on a 35 state BBQ odyssey. $25.71 purchased a quarter pound of fatty brisket, a jalapeno cheddar sausage link, sides of elote (cold) and jalapeno apple coleslaw, with two refillable iced teas. Everything was top notch. The well-smoked brisket featured the classic central Texas rub, and was so buttery that you could cut it with a fork. The sausage was beautifully balanced, and both sides paired well with the meats; indeed, we judged the coleslaw a “must do” side. “Overall-Very good food truck food with restaurant prices. You can see the prices posted on some of the photos of other reviews here. I paid $15 for a few chicken things and two scoops of rice. After tax and in your face tip request it comes out to almost $20 dollars. You know where else you can eat for $20? Texas Roadhouse gives you a whole lot of food, a huge location with AC, sports and a bunch of young good looking people that “love their job”. lol I know i am comparing very different things but I love both very much, Hawaiian food and Texas Roadhouse. I also love tipping people who actually provide a service like bring me my food, sing me happy bday, ask me if i need anything etc. That is how tips are earned and not like you bought my food, thank you now tip me.Who should go- you don’t mind tip culture that asks for tips while not providing any services and you don’t mind the slightly overpriced menu. You enjoy authentic Hawaii grindz.Who should avoid- You are in a rush to get where you are going. The food taste is great because it is cooked when ordered. That takes time. Tip culture annoys you.”

“Drinks are so yummy! I recently moved to Belton and drove by this place a few times, it's very tiny so you have to look closely lol! I have wanted to get away from spending $ on big company's such as starbs and dutch bros and instead find small business coffee stops. I'm a coffee girl but decided to try something different, I tried the gold lotus with strawberry flavoring and it was deliciousss. For those who don't pay attention to OZ size when ordering (like me) beware the large is HUGE but it lasted me all day so i didn't mind. Workers are sweet! Highly Recommend!”
