Since Covid the menu has been cut down by a lot. The food is beyond great and the service has always been a positive though. If the menu could be expanded to what it was before Covid I'd give it 5 stars. You will have a good experience with or without the expanded menu!

This is always a great place to go and get fresh food. Quick easy in and out...

It's a great place to eat, close to authentic Mexican food, my family's favorite, my favorite dish Tacos al carbon, mmmh highly recommend

Still has very limited menu. No combination plates. Chili rellenos. Charro beans etc. There are plenty other mexican restaurants that offer a full menu. You have lost a very loyal customer.

Awesome at Chuy's in Tyler, tonight. Hostess was conscientious to our personal requests and needs. Daniel, our server was top notch and Hannah mixed my margarita, my way. Didn't meet the kitchen staff this evening...but they too answered our specific needs, request. Eating anything sans teeth, (post oral surgery), is difficult. Especially a flour tortilla...my seasoned beef enchiladas with the perfect amount of tomatillo sauce easily, and quickly devoured. My husband's chicken chimichanga was to his liking...and when I mean to his liking, I mean that's what he orders at every restaurant that advertises Mexican food, or Mexican cuisine. And trust me, we have been to a lot of them in this county, and two others nearby. My son is the strong silent type, he's nonverbal and lives this life with the experience of severe autism. You wouldn't necessarily notice it just by first glance. And you wouldn't notice that the earplugs were to handle the dozens of sounds that most people tune out...but even through all of the chatter, I could still enjoy some classic music, my son could soak in the visual sights, and we all had something more than drive thru food. We come to Tyler quite often for my son, and while here we more than likely are in need of sustenance...this night it was Chuy's in Tyler, (admittedly we own currently a dozen or so Chuy's shirts)...my first Chuy's experience was in Dallas, on Knox St., if memory serves. The experience at this Chuy's tonight, was as great as that one was 25+ years ago....even if I didn't have the blue corn chicken enchiladas. Thank you Chuy's, and thank you for having such exceptional people working for you in Tyler, tonight. We will be back.

Its been 8 years since I was in Tyler and this Chuy's was hands down better than the one I have back home! The salsa is on point perfectly, and the taco plate was divine. I couldnt ask for a better waitress who was adorable! It made the trip home a really nice one!

Had a very large group of 22 coaches and kids. Called ahead to let them know we were coming so didn't have to wait long to be seated. Our server, Payton, took great care of everyone and the food was great. The only thing we didn't love was the salsa - a little chunky for our taste, but others may like it better.

50 minute wait and extremely slow to be served.Had to ask for refills on drinks, napkins and chips.Wait staff was pleasant but food was less than adequate. This used to be my favorite place to get Mexican food. Very limited menu now and nothing taste the same. ?

Great food and service is great, limited menu due to covid-19 but still very good. The tres leches cake is the best I've tasted. Also get some creamy jalapeno with your chips and salsa!

Good Tex Mex. Love the creamy jalapeno salad dressing with chips. Best dipping space for chips I've ever had. Buy an extra container while you are there. Interesting decor. Kids really liked it.
