The food is fine, but the quality and quantity has declined in the past few years. This particular location has terrible service at the counter. Many tables were not cleaned off from breakfast and it was Noon.
I came in to have a late lunch. The girl at the counter took almost two minutes to acknowledge that I was even standing there. When she waited on me she told me that the Chicken Friond which is supposed to be a staple in La Madaline’s ready to serve menu would take 30 minutes to get. If this is a reflection of the service La Madaline’s is now offering no wonder so many of them are closing. So sad as I love La Madalines and have dined at many of them over the years. I’ve been in this location several times in the last few months. Each time I go in and all at different times of the day there are Dirty trays on multiple tables for the duration of my time there. Additionally, we should not be promoted to tip. We stand in line, we self serve beverage and refills Where is the service? Tipping in self serve restaurants is just crazy and management should be aware of the absurdity of tipping even being an option in this type of restaurant.
