Took my boyfriend here for his first experience of southern BBQ. He was so happy. He loved his sausage and pulled pork nachos and brisket. We went around 2 pm, it was a good-sized lunch crowd but not too busy. Service was the best I have had their for the few times I've been.I still think they could be a bit more cognizant of older people coming in to eat, as I have seen older men and women trip going up the steps after ordering. And I haven't seen any staff helping them, cleaning up after them, or asking if they're okay.

I tried a little bit of each protein (except the ribs), and the only one I enjoyed was the sliced brisket. The chicken thigh was not bad, but I got tired of it pretty quickly. The turkey was tender, but was lacking flavor. The rest (pulled pork and sausage) were not good to my taste buds. They were too salty. The Mac-n-cheese was ok, but the cheese was too cheesy and dense/heavy. The shrimp tacos were not worth it, and the beef in the fajita taco was too tough. The bbq sauce was good.The atmosphere was cool. There was a line to order food during lunch time, but it went by quickly.Next time, I would just get the brisket sandwich, but there will probably not be a next time...

I had the mother clucker....I loved it! Yep, chicken breast with a fried egg. Oh...coleslaw was great too. They put cilantro in it and was surprisingly refreshing to me.
