Fabulous food! Had the Cajun Combo and the flavor was spot on! Make sure to try the Swamp Soup! The restaurant is the only one you will find on the Brazos River thus making it the best place for catching those beautiful Texas sunset views. The service can't be beat. Friendly staff throughout the place ready to assist whatever you request.
The Landing is the former Buzzard Billy's. We have been dinning there for about twenty years, going back to it's former downtown Buzzard Billy's location. Buzzard Billy's had a fun,casual vibe with three seating areas: the Swamp Shack which is a covered patio type area with garage door type walls that open up, a bar, and a mix of low and high top tables; a main indoor seating area; and a covered outdoor patio area. The atmosphere is great! It's by the river, fancy indoors, laid-back outdoors. The host was nice, the server got our orders in, I ordered the shrimp and it tasted like it was just a reheated bag of frozen shrimp. Husband got the burger- no mustard in it and the waitress took awhile to ask if we needed anything he just ate his burger without it.
