“Awesome cafe! I had the breakfast tacos. A little pricey for one taco, BUT IT’S WORTH IT! One taco filled me up. It’s like three in one, PLUS! The ingredients they put in the taco are nice and chunky. And they have a very friendly staff there. Definitely going back to try more food.”

“Coming in from New Braunfels - searched restaurants and this popped up. Called to check on closing time ~ lady was so nice, even took our name for reservations. Greeted by several when arrived and offered a good table. Onion rings were appetizer & soooo good. A gentleman came to chat with our son, ended up being in band whom later we found out was owner. Band started up & they played feel good real country music, not too loud, on key and music you can dance to. Food arrived by a friendly lady who noticed our salads were overlooked-offered to box them up. Thank goodness she did because when our food arrived; we were surprised about the plates. Catfish nuggets: ON POINT!!! Baked potatoes: ON POINT!! Chicken fried steak - ON POINT!! The gravy was also a nice delight. Checking out was again greeted, asked about our meal & service, thanked for coming in as well as safe travel wishes. Very pleased we stopped and hope to make it back.”

“It was our first time here.We ordered a steak , baked potato, and salad.OMGIt was superb !!!The steak was cooked to perfection, juicy, tasty,tender .The salad was delicious, thousand Island was super creamy.The baked potato was very well cooked.?Was an hour and a half away from home.Will definitely go again......”

“One of the nicest cleanest subways I have ever been in. They even heated up the meatballs for my meatball protein bowl. Have not had another subway do that. Staff was very friendly and conscientious. This is the only subway I’ve ever given five stars, I will definitely be back next time I pass through Yorktown. Great job in Subway!”

“Seated myself. It was almost 1 pm when I stopped for lunch. Waitress brought me a menu and then my drink very quickly.She was polite and personable.I was told they had the best burger in town. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger without a bun and fries. They had a ribeye salad and some breakfast options I would like to try on my next visit.Nice colorful menuMetal utensils, paper napkins and real plates. Complimentary chips and salsa were pretty good. The salsa had a good spicy bite and was cold and fresh.The fries were crispy outside and flavorful inside, very good with just the right amount of salt and spices on them.The bacon on my burger was real and thick, not like 5 Guys which to me is sprinkle bacon like you put on your salad, LOLMy only complaint would be the burger patty. It seemed as if it had breading mixed in based upon the texture and was somewhat spongy. That was the only thing lowering a potential five star review.I will definitely try here again with some other picks from the menu.”

“Came in for lunch at 12:30 pm. Not very crowded. Order taken quickly and food was brought out in no time. I ordered a number three with no bun. I like that they use purple onions on the burger. Much more flavorful.It was not spotless inside but pretty clean. It was also quiet until the local Highschool let out, the it got kind of crowded and noisier.My food was ok, nothing outstanding but not bad.”

“My stars are meaningless, since i haven't actually dined here! Due to incomplete Google Maps info, I decided to stop in today to get the real scoop straight from the horse's mouth. Apparently the Cafe had been leased and operated by different people until recently. The original owners are now back in charge! They are kinda ramping up, so they aren't serving steaks right now, but said as soon as it cools off a little more they are going to start cooking steaks again! Just wanted to help clear up some of the lack of information! They do have a Facebook page!”

“So this is a cool local place to hang out..... the place host a CornHole tournament at a place with a really nice oitside venue....To the owner I am sorry for the rating that was posted, I am almost certain it happen while in my pocket on my last visit.... was not aware of it... My apologies...”
