The Base Restaraunt & Bar

While traveling to Layton for a sporting event for our son we searched Yelp to find a restaurant that would satisfy the whole family. At first we gravitated to Red Robin to put our name in the list, after being notified of a 45 minute wait we searched Yelp again. We decided to give The Base a try. We decided to have dinner here for the first time. When we got there, we were seated almost immediately. The four of us (my boyfriend, myself, and two kids) started off with some garlic breaded cheese curds. They were so good and everyone gobbled them up quickly. Was impressed with food. Service seemed standard, but food quality was great. I ordered the ribs, and they were huge. Little on the fatty side, but overall happy with the experience. Mac and cheese is a must too. Definitely coming back.
