First, I want to say I love Popeyes. And this place was pretty great at first, but now it's not worth it which is a bummer. It seems like the oil doesn't get changed often enough and no one cares much about what they're doing. The breading was too dark and bitter from the old oil, the breast piece wasn't cooked well and was tough, didn't come away from the bone and the breading was soggy where it had been sitting in something. The night manager was so friendly! I drove two hours to eat at my all-time favorite fast food and wasn't disappointed. The staff was fast, and the food had a perfect consistency. The building was clean, and the whole experience was excellent.

I was very disappointed at the portions served. I ordered a two-piece cicken combo. The two pieces of chicken I received were so small that I felt as if it were just one piece. Also, I ordered a side of mashed potatoes. There was so little gravy I could hardly taste it. When I go to lunch and pay what I paid for the food, I expect to be satified. I left feeling hungry.
