Chuck-A-Rama has been in Utah for decades. It's a good place to go when you're hungry, you don't want to wait for a waiter to take your order or for your food to be prepared, and you want to just walk in and start eating. It's not the fanciest place on the planet, but there is a good variety of food that you might expect to find at a typical buffet. I think it's a little bit pricey for what you get, but it doesn't keep me from visiting there now and then for a large family gathering.
It is a pretty decent buffet! The food selection was good, the staff friendly, the food was also pretty good for a buffet. My son loved it and that they have endless Mac and cheese. I would go back!
This was my first visit to Chuck A Rama. It was a pleasant surprise! The restaurant is clean and nice. The server was always there before we even asked for anything. She was warm and welcoming and friendly! The decor was nice and warm and cozy. There were plenty of tables and booths to choose from. Everything was very clean. There were several buffet carts to choose from. There was a wide selection and variety to pick from. I went on a Saturday around 5:30 pm and it was not packed....read full review
