All the meat had a very strong smoky flavor which my husband loved and I thought was okay. The portion sizes were fine, but smaller than I am used to getting at comparable Mexican restaurants for similar price. We ordered the Steak Fries, Carnitas Plate, and Tijuana Burrito and liked the burrito the best.
Brasas has the best food, hands down. Fantastic flavors. My family was impressed too including my son who has a culinary degree and has cooked at some of the best restaurants in the area, including Communal. I’ve been everywhere. Best tacos, best burritos, great prices.

We went there and I had a Chimichanga. The meals cost about 12.50 each. You order and pay up front. Then the cashier brings you your food. I was surprised to see a big plate come my way. It had a good helping of spanish rice and refried beans. Also, there was a small salad. The chimichanga was big. It was moist and tasted good. The food was good. It had a different style of taste.
