10/10. This is what my mom makes at home indeed. Recommend leek pie, beef roll, shredded pork with tofu string, pot herb mustard with pork, and for the adventurous griddle pork intestines. These foods are meant to be shared and eaten with short grain rice.
Run down building inside and out, counters, bathroom, tables, chairs but I want to believe its clean. Easy access, difficult to find during darkness because large business sign is off or not working and the building is dark including windows with shades closed. Upside, good food, Asian options not just Chinese fare. All.said dont expect high end or even medium but you can expect very good food. EXPECT A LONG WAIT! This place was everything we hoped it would be. Our family dined there for lunch today and the food was incredible. Having lived in Taiwan, this is the food I miss the most. The dishes were truly authentic and really hit the spot. The service was excellent as well. Can’t wait to go back to this spot again. I highly recommend to anyone who enjoys Taiwanese food.Vegetarian options: Ask your server if you are uncertain about a dish. There were a lot of vegetarian options.
