“We went for a late lunch today, sadly to close to 3pm when they close, they close from 3pm to 4pm., but still were taken care with kindness. We had Wonton Soup, Pot Stickers, General Tso and Fried Rice. Food was amazing, I enjoyed the Fried Rice ? a lot. Good customer service, restaurant is really clean.“
“This is such a great place. The best way I can describe it is the polar opposite of trendy. The food is phenomenal. Service and atmosphere is exactly what you should expect from a mom and pop joint that has been consistently good for many years. As long as you aren't in a hurry, this will be one of the most enjoyable bowls of Pho you will ever have.“
“Vegetarian options: This was my first time at vegan restaurant wasn’t sure what to expect but the food was delicious I left not feeling like so heavy the food was very healthy and tastes were amazing I love Vietnamese food I just need to be careful of the sauces I have to watch my sodium. Thank you for a great experience I will be back to order my favorite the teriyaki chickun n rice.“
“Wonderful atmosphere and service was excellent! Portions were very generous. I had the fisherman’s curry and loved the flavor and fresh baguetteParking: No parking lot and close to the University District. I found street parking and was free because of being Saturday.“
“Tai pho was amazing especially with the chili oil. Moscow mule was yummy. Price was good for everything but be expected to wait 30+ min for food, which was odd as there wasn’t anybody in the restaurant but a lot of take out orders that they seemed to make a priority like previous reviews mentioned.“
“The first time I came here hearing good things and ordered Pho to-go. Don’t do that it wasn’t very good. The second time I ordered the Brisket Pho because they had ran out of Bun Bo Hue. It was pretty good! Not the best Pho I’ve had but it satisfied me. The restaurant is nice and has a TV playing music on it. Good spot for Vietnamese food. Can’t speak to if you want to order tacos and burritos here.“
“Great food! Great service! Great people! The food is delicious and fresh. Joanne, my cashier, is very nice, friendly and pleasant. The chef even came out to greet me after I complimented him on my delicious meal. I love that this is a locally owned restaurant by an immigrant family. I enjoy reading the family’s story on their website. I always support locally owned family businesses. I will definitely come back with family and friends. I highly recommend this fabulous restaurant to everyone! Tamarind makes Salt Lake City better! Thank YOU!“
“This is the place to be, an exclusive, high end, dining experience. If you are looking for an Irish jig of flavor on your tongue look no further. The pho was like a waterfall from the heavens mixed with the most tender meat from the fattened calf. If you come here you're cool. ??“
“This place is a great value! I got The Sinner with a cup of pho broth to dip in. The sandwich was delicious, with a nice balance of veggies and meat. The pork belly was cooked to perfect tenderness. Dipping it into the pho broth took it over the top and there's enough broth to share.I'll definitely be back in the future!“
“I had the pork and egg banh mi and it was good, not the best I've ever had. Bread was crusty on the outside and soft on the inside, not alot of pork though. The viet iced coffee was strong and legit, and the coconut cream sticky rice and bean dessert was tasty as well.“
“This is mine and my boyfriends favorite spot! The food is always so unbelievably good and the customer service is always excellent! We get the shaking beef every time it’s to die for, but honestly everything we’ve tried from this spot has never disappointed. I couldn’t recommend this place more!Parking: Public parking garage across the street and free parking lot just down the street. Street parking as well“
“Great experience. Traveling from Texas and stopped in this hidden gem.We ordered the Tai Chien chicken and Beef Pho with pork spring rolls.I have never had such wonderful asian food in my life.I only hope i will find Tai Chien that tastes this good again but likly won't.The dark red/brown siracha sauce is more of a sweet heat flavor fyi. Very delicious on the rice and wonton chips! You won't be disappointed here.“
“One of the best viet spots in SLC, never had a bad meal here and even friends from our of town love it. Menu is very extensive with so many options to choose from. My favorites are the roast chicken (fried basically) egg noodles soup, wonton and cha siu egg noodles soup, and combination rice dish are all great. The sweet and savory mini pancake shrimp with coconut milk is really good and not found in many places. Def recommend when in the area, with many other food and dessert options in the chinatown supermarket complex.“
“My family has gone here for over 25 years. It is our favorite Chinese restaurant & where we go for special occasions! I love the taste of everything I've ever ordered but usually end up getting my favorite dishes, all vegetarian with soy 'chicken'. They also offer meat dishes, so any meat eaters can get what they want as well. When I'm buying, everyone eats veggie, but my meat-eating kids don't mind because they love the soy 'meat'!My favorites (all soy chicken) Moo Goo Gai Pan, Mu Shu Chicken, Sweet & Sour Chicken. Also veggie Won Ton Soup & Vietnamese Fresh Spring Rolls. My kids also like the Hot & Sour Soup, & the beef & seafood dishes.Vegetarian options: There is a complete separate vegetarian menu as well as a separate meat menu. A lot of variety to choose from. This is the only place I've ever found that does a perfect vegetarian Sweet & Sour Chicken!“
“Was surprised to see about other customers saying that you place the order at the counter. We were just there couple hourse ago and the staff came to us and took our orders and she was very friendly.Anyhow, I personally have been here a lot of times in the past and my experience is always pleasant, food is always great and I love it that they serve the ?pho like boiling hot.“
“I absolutely love this place! My dining experience at The Pearl was nothing short of excellent. The combination of delicious Vietnamese cuisine, attentive service, and cozy atmosphere made for a memorable and enjoyable evening. Highly recommend!“
