“Being from Hyderabad (India)myself this tasted exactly like the bawarchi in Hyderabad(India)if not better. The spice level was perfect (spicy the way we like it ?). Mango lassi was the best way to end the meal to cool down your stomach after all the amazing flavors.Highly recommend this place and oh this place has reasonable prices compared to many restaurants in Salt Lake City.“
“If you love Indian food this is the place to go. The lunch buffet is awesome, just opened back up! The restaurant is clean and modern. They also have a secret spicy menu. If you ask for spicy they normally only give you "American Hot". If you are serious about your heat, ask for "Indian Hot." Also, the owner frequently works right in the kitchen to ensure everything is spot on, and he makes great conversation. What are you waiting for?“
“The food here was so good. They gave us so much rice we couldn’t eat it all. I thought their naan smelled really good. We got the chicken tikka masala and the chicken curry. The chicken curry was so much more flavorful here than any other restaurant I’ve been to. Reminds me of my mom’s!They just opened a dessert bar. I highly recommend trying it. Their pistachio cake is to die for. Very moist. Not dyed in green so don’t be thrown off. We decided to get a mango cake slice to take home too!Muthu was our waiter. He was so kind and friendly. He gave us a complimentary cake and that was such a sweet gesture!! Thank you for the exceptional service!“
“There was a friendly Server, very informative and very aware of our needs. The food was amazing!! You can’t go wrong with anything!Vegetarian options: I tried to look at everything on the menu since it was our 1st time there and we haven’t eaten out India food for a super long time! There were many vegetarian options on the menu.“
“This is my favorite Indian restaurant. I live in LA and eat Indian food fairly regularly. The service was excellent and fast. I appreciated that the service was non-intrusive and anticipatory of my needs. It additionally seems like a great place to order take-out because the food was ready so quickly.“
“This is literally the best pizza I have ever had. I am not very adventurous when it comes to trying new foods, so I always get the regular vegetarian pizza and it is amazing! My husband loves the tikkamasala pizza. Also the owners are always so nice and remember us when we go in. 10/10 you have to try this place.“
“Stopped in late, after 9pm and still received excellent service and fresh delicious food! We ordered butter chicken and vegetable Marsala and they were both so good! Loved the garlic naan as well, definitely recommend. I love the green concrete floors as well, will definitely come back!“
“This restaurant is honestly amazing! The service is perfect, they are very welcoming. The food is the best Indian cuisine I have ever tasted. And the restaurant is very clean and very organized. I 100% recommend this restaurant to everyone.“
“We went there tonight and discovered why they've earned themselves 5 stars! I had the Chicken Coconut Kurma - a unique dish I've never had in Indian restaurants before, and my boyfriend had the Lamb Saag. The food was delicious, the servers were attentive, the prices reasonable, and the decor is beautiful and quiet! We have a few favorites that we always visit on our ski trips to SLC and this is added to the list!“
“This is seriously the best Indian food in West Valley! Do yourself a favor and hit this place up. Even the palak paneer is the best I've ever had. The mango lassi is on point too! And they have some fun, unique things like the buffalo momos that don't disappoint!“
“Came here for the very first time, and it has been a great experience from the moment I stepped inside! The guy working at the time was extremely friendly and conversational. I got a side of samosas and while I couldn’t tell whether it was baked or fried, it still tasted great nonetheless. I also had the kothey momos, and they were cooked to perfection. Because of the friendly staff and the great tasting food, I’ll be back again!“
“We really enjoy eating at Royal India. Their food is very delicious. For an appetizer, they have a vegetable Samosa which is incredibly delicious. It’s a fried pastry stuff with potatoes and peas and it’s so good. I like their chicken tikka and chicken masala. They can do different spice ranges to customize it for your tastes.“
“I don’t usually leave reviews on google, but I wanted to make sure MunchKart gets the credit it deserves. I wasn’t expecting much with the cheap prices, but I was pleasantly surprised. I got the chicken korma curry and it was the best curry I’ve ever had for $10. Rice is even included in the price. You won’t find a better value anywhere else!“
“Indian food that won't break the bank?! Yes please!! My 9 year old and I needed a last minute lunch option the other day and decided to stop in here. We instantly knew we had made the right choice. Everything was delicious and the portions were perfect. My son really loves noodles and the kid was literally in heaven. I caught this pic right as he was taking his first bite! Go there!! You'll love it I promise!“
“This place is THE legit place for Indian "tiffins" in the Salt Lake Valley. It's all vegetarian. I lived in Tamil Nadu India for over a year, and every time I go to this place it just takes me right back.Don't expect table service, and you'll have to put your own dishes on the wash rack when you're done. They also don't do "spice level": the food is made legit the way it would normally be at a restaurant in India - spicy, but not overboard.I always leave this place feeling great.Vegetarian options: Strictly, deliciously vegetarian, just like any legit tiffins point in India.Parking: Enormous strip mall parking lot. Never have had trouble finding a spot“
“I love this place!! I probably go one every week or every other week! The people are SO NICE and always remember me and details about my life. It’s always great food and great chats! 100% would recommend! I’ve tried a decent amount of the Indian food in slc and they are my favorite!!“
“Looking for wonderful authentic Indian cuisine. You will love Bhutan House! Absolutely delicious food with a kind staff to help you make selections if you need. Curry, butter chicken, tandoori, and a must have with every meal their bread basket!“
“This is the best Indian food in Utah. The restaurant is clean and the food is high quality with a cozy calm vibe inside. Obi, the owner, is so kind and welcoming. We have been coming here for years since we used to live in the area. It is always a favorite to come back to whenever we are in the Salt Lake area and worth the travel. If you like supporting local business owners, this is a great place.“
“Wow, what an awesome restaurant! We've come to Great India three times now and every meal has been excellent. We brought our friend from India here and he said the curries were legit. One of the things we love about this place is that the curries are all delicious but also don't all taste the same. We've had the Mattar paneer, bhindi (okra), vindaloo, Rogan Josh (lamb) and vegetable masala. We loved all of them and it's hard to pick a favorite. The spice levels here are no joke, another thing we love. There's mild, medium and spicy, then after spicy you can get 1x up to 10x spicy. On the Indian scale the spiciest we tried was 6 and it was very, very spicy but still flavorful. We finished it but were sweating! Even the 2 packed a punch and I think 3 was perfect. Their service is quick, attentive and friendly. The mango Lassi is also delicious- tangy and flavorful. I can't wait to be back for another delicious meal!“
“I’m upset with all the money I’ve spent on other places that never satisfied my cravings. The lunch buffet was more than amazing AND FRESH BOY?? The mango lassi and samosa??? EVERYTHING I’m SURE YOU ORDER HERE WILL BE TO YOUR SA-TIS-FACTION BOO??? Beautiful restaurant and even more BEAUTIFUL SERVER! Thank you MEHVISH FOR YOUR WONDERFUL SERVICE?????“
“I don't want to give away the farm on this one, for personal reasons. However, I will say that the food was outstanding! The servings were very hardy, just the right amount of spice (heat) and the service was extra special. (Not special like short bus special). The young man at the cash register was obviously family, couldn't have been more than 13 or 14 years old. But he was super bright, warm, caring, empathetic and giving!! He made what could have been a bad experience for me, something wonderful! (let me clarify...it had nothing to do with the business, it was my mistake). In fact, I was so happy, I cried! Yep, I did.... I wanted to throw my arms around his neck and hug him till he couldn't breathe! The young man made my week ?. I will definitely send there again!-Kat Thompson“
“I absolutely love the authentic, delicious food loving prepared here. I'm grateful to have found this hidden ? of a restaurant in Sandy.Vegetarian options: Delicious!Parking: Free parking.Wheelchair accessibility: I noticed a handicap parking space near the restaurant's front door.“
“This was a great experience! We went for my wife’s birthday, she has been asking to go get Indian food for a while. This place was close so we gave it a try, so glad we did. Food was amazing, the garlic naan bread was fire! Our server was awesome and whatever the dessert he brought my wife for her birthday was amazing! We will definitely be back.“
“My family and I are very glad we decided to try this restaurant! Our waitress was incredibly helpful and friendly. My parents aren't very familiar with Indian cuisine, so she patiently and kindly walked them through all the questions they had to help them identify the right dish for them. Once the food came, we were not disappointed. We ordered everything with a medium-heat level spice and it was delicious! It's definitely my new favorite Indian restaurant in the south valley area. Make sure to order the chai and samosas when you're there!“
“My wife and I are now devastated that we have lived here for 5 years, and it took us that long to find this Napali gem! Nan was beautiful, chix Tikka Masala was heavenly (ordered medium spicy with some hot flavor on the side). My wife loved every last morsel of hers.We truly are overjoyed that finally we have found a real gem / standout restaurant that surpasses any other in it's ethnicity/culture.“
“It's like Chipotle but with delicious Indian food. No wait, excellent service, made to order naan. Recommend the chickpeas and coconut korma on the seasoned rice! Dining room ambiance leaves a little to be desired so while I wouldn't take a first date, the food deserves 5 stars.“
“This place used to be Sri Balaji Caffe. Name changed, but the food doesn't seem to have. Hands down the best place for Indian Tiffins in Utah. It's counter service, and you bus your own table, but every time I eat here it takes me right back to the days when I was living in Chennai. Food is legit, curries are simply made right (no "how spicy do you want?"). Freaking delicious, and very well priced for how much food you get.“
“Edit (12/2023): They don't do a lunch buffet anymore despite that being listed on their website and on their door. Docking a star for that.Old review: This has become my go-to for great Indian food. The lunch buffet is a great value and the service is great. Lunch buffet is also available on Saturdays. Their chicken tikka masala/butter chicken is delicious. We add a bit of salt to it to enhance the flavor. Always like trying different items on the buffet as well. Highly recommend.“
“We eat here more often than any other restaurant. We have been many times, and it’s always excellent. Definitely our favorite Indian in SLC.Dietary restrictions: Vegan, vegetarian and gluten free are available and tasty!Parking: Can be crowded on a weekend night but always fine on weeknights.“
“I didn’t know this place existed until I was looking for a place to eat luncheon. This came up on my search. So I tried it and I am very happy that I did. A friend and I are going back next week. Really enjoyed the food. The people were really friendlyand the place is really clean and modern. Can’t wait to go back and enjoy their delicious food.“
“I’ve never had red butter chicken before today but it was good! It’s a red tomato sauce base with the most tender chicken I’ve ever had. Butternut squash soup was good. More curry flavor than squash, but it was served piping hot! Garlic naan was fire! Fantastic. Server was very friendly and prompt. We will come back and try some other menu items since this is close to our house.Parking: This used to be a Training Table restaurant and there is a lot of free parking in the adjacent lot.Wheelchair accessibility: All one level and spacious. Easy access.“
“The food was great. We got a mixed appetizer and I had the chicken coconut korma and a mango coconut lassi. The drink was almost a meal in and of itself it was so filling. Plenty of leftovers. Decent prices. Service was great albeit a little slow at times. Would recommend this place.“
“First time to eat here. The food was delicious. We especially loved the butter chicken and palak paneer. Oh, and the naan! We ordered an appetizer and naan and did the buffet ( appetizer and naan not included in that). It was fun to try a variety of food. The staff were very friendly. The only thing was the buffet foods got really low and weren’t replenished while we were there. We will be going back, though, because it’s really yummy!“
