Ok - quest for the Holy Graal of Phillys in this here town you all. ... and thus had to try Subway for a baseline. Ok .. We all know the Subway Philly is generic (relatively speaking ) and not a true contender vs. a true PHILLY restaurant that specializes.... With that in mind - service here was great and friendly. The restaurant was clean and well staffed, and the food was prepared quickly and correctly. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the price. It wasn't that long ago that Subway was running campaigns offering their foot long sandwiches for $5, but now a single 6" sub cost about $7. It's difficult to justify spending so much on so little.
