We stopped here for food and loved it so much we came back for another meal before our vacation was up.Day 1, my wife had the ham and beans with cornbread and it was stellar. I had the country fried chicken with mashed taters and some onion rings and it was pretty dang tasty.Day 2, my wife had a chili dog with tater tots and coleslaw and she loved it. This restaurant is phenomenal! The food was delicious and was prepared astonishingly fast. I could tell whomever prepared the food cared about the quality and taste. The service staff were super friendly and attentive. Do yourself a favor and eat here.

Home Slice is the greatest diner in SW VA. The waitresses will call you honey, sugar, baby, or any combination of the three. The food is comfort food at its finest (biscuits and gravy are wonderful) and there's lots of old ads and posters on the walls. I love this place. My waistline, not so much. ?I haven't had any of their ice cream but it looks great too!
