This is a very casual restaurant..almost a dive. Don't expect anything fancy. The service is good. The wait staff are very pleasant and friendly. The food was surprisingly good. We ordered the Lomo Saltado, Aji de Galina, and Causa de Atun (Tuna). All 3 of us were happy with our dishes. Mine was tasty (Galina) but lukewarm. I took about half home and had it for lunch the next day...it was great when I heated it up!!
Lomo saltado was slightly above average. Tough to find good ones in the area. The flan however, was flat out horrendous. The worst flan I have ever tried in my life, no exaggeration. I am shocked someone tried this flan and thought, "...yes! We should sell this!" ?. Bummed I wasted 5+ dollars on it.Lomo Saltado was delicious, but nothing impressive. I had to think over whether I wanted to post this or not as I'd selfishly like to keep this hidden gem for myself, but alas, the fine people that run this place deserve all the praise. Top notch Peruvian food. I don't think there is one comparable within a 20 mile radius.
