I tried a lot of things because I'm a bbq fanatic. I bought the ribs, brisket, pulled pork, pulled chicken, sausage link, and the burnt ends. I'm not going to go through each because non of it is worth mentioning. The baked beans and greens were ok. Good atmosphere for drinking but the bbq was below average. All of it. If you really like bbq, go somewhere else. I wish somebody had given a real review before I went there. Hope this helps somebody.
We found this little town called del Rey which seems to be a suburb of alexandria. It has been a breath of fresh air in the Washington DC area. Two restaurants owned by the same people one is this called the pork barrel and the other called holy cow just a couple doors down on the same block. Both are worth your time to

If you come for the bar and get a little food it’s great but to come here just for the food it is a little underwhelming. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed my lunch but it was also just meh. I love the atmosphere as the inside is really cool but I also saw them microwaving my food… Service is fast but you understand why when you come.
