This place has gone from a neighbor pizza shop with Lefty and Joe to a gross hole in the wall. No character. Every inch covered with plexiglass and stupid posters. $13 for 2 slices. Close to $25 for a cheese steak. Sad to see.
My family been coming to Mario's since early 80's ,love the food yes it has changed has anything else ? Lovin it and will always stop by for a tasty sub .much love to everyone there now lefty and Joe will always be remembered ❤️.Kid-friendliness: If you've been here you'll understand the vibe. I've been going to Mario's since the 60s... I met Lefty shooting pool at the billiards place on the corner of Glebe and Wilson in the mid 60's and he told me about Mario's, and said he worked there... so I decided to give it a try. Man!
