The salsa is a little different than most and quite a nice change of pace. There were quite a few vegetarian entrees and the staff was very friendly. Also, the prices are a little lower than average for the area in which it's located.Vegetarian options: The vegetarian options were good and there were enough to choose from. This is not a vegetarian restaurant, though. It is definitely quite meat-centric.
Some of the best food for its price point in the city. I have eaten at all these places Tex-Mex restaurants in DC area over the years and this place is where I return. The other thing to point out is I never feel slightly sick like I do after many of the other places which means the quality of food and oil is good. The American food stock seems to get less trustworthy. What are people spraying in the food to keep it looking good but leaving you feeling sick after every meal?...read full review

Really enjoyed this restaurant. We tried their 3 vegan tacos. One with veggies (onion and peppers), one with mushrooms, and one with a vegan chorizo. All were delicious. The side sauces were also really good. One was pretty spicy, but had a nice flavor.
