Never have had a disappointing meal here. Staff is extremely accommodating and personable. Food can sometimes be salty (which I don't see as a bad thing). Veggie empanadas are some of the best. Good for vegetarians and pescatarians.
Very good "true" Mexican joint in Belmont. Get some empanadas! The classic margaritas are fantastic as well. This being said it's def closer to $50/head, the review score here must be out of date (we spent even more than that, but we did get a few rounds)

this place is an experience in the best way. managed to get an early reservation on a friday night (heads up, they’re busy!) and so happy we did. service was super attentive, friendly, funny, and thoughtful. we sat at the high top with a view of the kitchen and bar which was a great time. and the food: delicious. we had the no carne versions of the tamale, coliflor, mole molido, and enfrijoladas and each was a delight. they were timed as courses perfectly and all had distinct...read full review
