“This little market in Albemarle County is rocking it during a really challenging time for foodies. With local wine, beef and homemade entrees in their case and always a smile on their faces, look no further than the intersection of Free Union and Garth. If you can't find what you need here, than you never needed it anyway! Great wine selection also; best place to stop on Friday night (or any night actually) for a bottle to take home and pick up a few gallons of gas to get yourself home. Delicious sandwiches“
“I would really love to say thank you to Robin for being helpful with me when the cashier didn't give me the receipt and I need to return a shoe rack that is I thought was on sale. She is really kind and patient with me. And I would like say that I really appreciate her. Among the 3 employees I've encountered yesterday , she is the only one who had tried to help me out. Thumbs up!“
“What the hell? I just heard this place is temporarily closed. Not only do they have delicious food, the service is excellent too. I was an international student at UVA back in 2017 and due to some circumstances, I was homeless for 2 weeks. Littlejohn's that was open 24x7 at the time, allowed me to spend several hours at night during that time in there - no questions asked. I will forever be grateful for them. Please start a gofundme or something. I am sure, plenty of people would contribute.“
“Stopped by here for lunch during a recent work trip to Charlottesville and loved it so much I returned the next four days. Everything I had was delicious, but my favorites were the tomato bisque and the gobbfather sandwich. I agree with some other reviewers that there was a bit too much spicy mayo, but that's definitely not a dealbreaker. I was also very impressed with their iced coffee. Highly recommend!“
