This place had it all. A nicely decorated interior and the Tibetan music made you feel comfortable and relaxed. The server and hostess was very friendly. But the food was fantastic. We started with the Shamo Tsampa, Nomadic style grilled brown mushrooms in melted butter dusted with roasted barley flour. For my lunch I had the Doluma Tofu Lunch, Sauteed eggplant with fried tofu, black mushrooms and carrots.

This isn't an indictment of the restaurant so much as Tibetan food. Tibetan food is more mild in flavor than Indian, but often enjoys a more creamy texture. Service was normal, the atmosphere is fantastic, and it's a good spot for a quiet date.

Delicious food and excellent service. We came on a Saturday afternoon for lunch; my son and I split a spicy cow's tongue appetizer, which was not too spicy and just salty enough. We both got tofu noodle dishes -- his an egg noodle, mine glass. Both were delicious and we have plenty for another meal. We both recommend!
