Food was great. Had the halibut, pork chop, and sprouts/spinach side. Drinks and wine great. The space gets 4 star for me. I wish they would upgrade old uncomfortable chairs at tables for 2. They feel unstable and very small - especially for someone tall. Noise level is high, especially when seated next to big tables.
Went to Duners last night with my husband and my mother-in-law! We haven't been a a couple years and it was just fabulous! We had the Shad Rod, Halibut and Rockfish and all three were excellent! Wine/beer choices were wonderfully extensive and the dessert was devind...had the Flourless Chocolate Cake and the Ice Cream Sandwich ......very decadent and delicious! Superb as always, a standard of casual excellence for over 25 years. We had the Halibut with Sweetbreads for an appetizer. Our friends enjoyed the Duck. Always a congenial place to sup with friends before sliding into JPJ for a UVA BB game.
