Java Java Cafe Reviews
This is a great spot on the Downtown Mall to stop for a coffee and a bite (they have a nice selection of both sweet and savory pastries). There are plenty of couches inside; however, when I was there the inside was closed to seating due to COVID and I sat in their large outdoor seating area.
Java Java Cafe is such a cute little cafe. I'm sure pre-COVID this place was booming with people relaxing and studying. Both times I tried specialty drinks. The lavender white mocha was delicious, definitely on the sweeter side. I also loved the pumpkin white mocha. My fiance had the strawberry banana smoothie, and I watched them make it with fresh ingredients. Their selection of pastries were also enticing, but I was just looking for coffee.
The coffee was great - got a hazelnut iced latte and it was memorable. The taste of the espresso really comes through and isn’t overpowered by the oat milk or sugar. Nice ambiance and vibe too, and they are quick to take your order and serve it up. I recommend it to anyone already in downtown and looking for a nice coffee spot.
