“My wife and I are regulars at Woody's on Battlefield. We had dinner and drinks, listened and danced to the live music on a recent Saturday night. They can be crowded on nights when they have live music. We usually get there a couple of hours before the band starts. It is always a friendly atmosphere and fun experience. Servers, especially Brenna are highly customer focused and efficient.“
“If you want cheap wings and beer. This is the place on Wednesday. Otherwise, food is good. Typically understaffed, but that seems to be the norm in most restaurant service establishments. Noiseywhen busy as there are many hard surfaces.“
“I can only rate the rear area/"outside" of the bar & grill. We ate our corned beef & cabbage & our reubens & drank our beer in the rear bar. It was nice, outside but not outside. “I used to go here all the time for karaoke and it was great, but lately it has kinda sucked. Twice I've gone recently, and the service has been lackluster at best; waiting awhile for service, forgetting drinks, etc. Plus, the management of the bar won't let anyone say cuss words on the mic, even if it's in the song, or sing anything they deem "inappropriate". I mean, it's a 21 and up establishment. It's ridiculous. I don't have the patience for karaoke nazis. I'll just find somewhere else to sing and I probably will not be back for the forceable future.“

“We have been to lockside for lunch and had the best lunch, tonight we went our appetizer was wrong my husbands steak was so dry they put butter on it to make it look like it was fresh and is mashed potatoes we’re cold. My burger tasted like it came from a fast food restaurant. To add to the matter our waitress paid no attention that we were done in less than 10 minutes, every person in there waiting tables and seating had an attitude. It will be the last time we will be going“
“Their Bread Pudding is AMAZING!! Every time I go, I try a different dish. Everything I have had so far has been AMAZING! Definitely would recommend this place to everyone. If you are looking for a place to bring someone to dinner who may be visiting, this is a definite must! Oh, and you have to get the bread pudding!“

“We ate here prior to seeing a show at Chrysler Hall. The server was very friendly. The happy hour specials were a great value. The sliders, chicken bites and salad we had were excellent. We were surprised how good it was for a sports bar. We'll be back for sure.Parking: We parked at the Wells Fargo garage and walked to Baxters. “This was my first time at Griff’s Restaurant & Sports Lounge. Casual eating spot. You seat yourself. There are pool tables to the right when you come in, a bar straight ahead, a few tables and a few booths on the left of entry. Our server Nicole greeted us promptly and it didn’t take me long to decide on one of the Friday night specials. Great prices. I ordered the fried flounder and shrimp basket with fries. My friend ordered the flounder dinner with two sides (green beans & California mix veggies). The vegetables were seasoned very well and the fries were fresh cut. The flounder was delicious… lightly breaded, moist inside and crispy on the outside. The shrimp was also lightly breaded and crispy. The first thing I noticed was the fried food was not greasy at all. I’ll return to try other menu items.“

“We have been a few times and the food is always great. Pastrami sandwich was delicious. Fried tomato & crab tower amazing. Sweet potato fries with cinnamon dipping sauce heavenly. Not sure I need to see my bartender putting on her deodorant at the bar however.“
