“Ray's is an awesome place to grab some great food. My wife especially loves his vegetable Stromboli. She raves about how he always cooks it perfectly, no soggy veggies always cooked al dente. His pizza is great and the garlic knots are amazing. Ray has his own brand of coffee now and like everything else, it is of the highest quality.“

“My family used to get pizza (take out) a long time ago in the late 90s. Today my dad wanted to have lunch there as a family. The food was so freaking good. The waitress was especially nice and friendly. The only dud was when we walked in, was the stares. It's 2024. Everyone loves pizza. It made my mom a bit uncomfortable but after I reassured her, she felt better. Oh! The blue cheese dressing was delicious. Thanks Chesapeake Pizza.“

“Grreat time & restaurant. Def make reservations due to limited seating. Rhode Island Calamari appetizer was delicious!!! The Salsiccia Picante pizza was tasty but we learned we def do not like Gorgonzola on pizza. Already cooked. We ate it. We know for next time we CAN request items not on the pizza. Lesson lesrned on ingredients we don't like. Lol The cannoli was delicious. Boyfriend had a pistachio coffee ice cream w/cookie. Was tasty. The hostess, Caroline (sp?), as also the server. She did a tremendous job working the room & serving. Excellent restaurant. Great food. Great service!“
“The food is always good here, but tonight must have been an off night. It took 45 minutes before they even took our orders. Our waitress disappeared. Their excuse is they are short staffed. If you are short staffed, then you should have closed for the night and tried again tomorrow. Just my opinion.“

“I have been looking to try this place for a while now and finally got the opportunity for lunch. Very convenient to City Hall where I work, and more importantly, the pizza is great! Nothing like a NY style pie served by the slice for lunch. Reasonably priced menu, will definitely be giving their other items a try (quite a variety for a smaller establishment). Also, some unique items that sound worth trying (love pickles - gotta try the pickle pizza). Looking forward to my next visit already!“
“I loved the pizza and calzones pricy but good. The last few months quality had gone down. I got a supreme and counted literally 8 pepperoni on a large. And a calzone with filling only in the very middle and not much of it. It’s. Sad pizza used to be a quick affordable dinner now not so much.“
“I've only ever done delivery from Pizza Plus, so I can't speak to the specifics of the restaurant. The food though is amazing! I don't know what they put in their pizza but is excellent! It's distinctive and addicting! Recently we also ordered the fried raviolis (included in the picture). Those were also quite good. They'll probably be added to our regular order now. The delivery service is fast and polite. This is our go to spot when we are craving pizza.“

“It was our first time here and we absolutely love our experience. We made reservations since it was our first time will definitely be back. Our waitress was beyond amazing and made our experience so much better. Everything we ordered was nothing but amazing. Having just lived in Italy for three years we definitely were missing Italian food and this was definitely good. Highly recommend this restaurant everything is well priced. I feel like the drinks were really good. The kids were satisfied as well and very full. No complaints.Kid-friendliness: Went with our two kids ages 5 and 10 but there was a little girl who was about 1 I would say she was absolutely beautiful and the staff seemed to know her very well. “I had read some reviews and we were just visiting the area, so we decided to try it even though they were mixed. My son had a pizza and said it was excellent with great sauce and not too much cheese, which is usually an issue. I had chicken cacciotore, the chcken was sautéed perfect, and the sauce was very flavorful. Service was excellent, and I will definitely visit again if I visit Chesapeake again!“
“I barely even be posting reviews forreal but last night I had the best chicken Alfredo of my whole life I was told it was made by the one and only chef John up at Zinos in Chesapeake. I had to ask what could possibly be the culprit to the level of creamy deliciousness that dish entailed and the staff had the kindness to allow me to meet the man who had created that glorious bowl of warm pasta heaven. John came right on out he wasn’t al-fred-o anything to talk at all and we hit it right off, what a nice glorious man. The last thing he mentioned was something about a candy cane but I was really too entrapped to comprehend where that came from, anyways Go Zinos! I’ll definitely be coming back for more like four times a week and I make minimum wage so that tells you how dope the food is. Also the music selection is 10/10.“
