“This is the best sushi place in the whole state, and the best customer service I've ever had, hands down. My family has ordered online from here for a long time because the food was so tasty, and we finally decided to come in person. All I can say is.. wow. This place is even better in the restaurant and the staff redefines what customer service means. They knew exactly who we were by name as soon as we ordered because they kept track of online orders. They went above and beyond to make our visit and meal great. They are phenomenal and they genuinely care about their customers. Recommend 100 out of 10.“
“We were a party of 6. Food was fantastic, portions were standard and service was outstanding. Considering how much did was ordered, it came to the table in a timely fashion. I was able to request my rolls be gluten free and they even had gluten free soy sauce.Dietary restrictions: The server had knowledge about gluten free preparation and even offered gluten free soy sauce. I have Celiac disease and had no reactions.“
“Absolutely incredible! I found this place from trying to find a good sushi buffet on here, and they did not disappoint! I've been to just about every sushi buffet in the 757 area and nothing will top this one. Our server was so incredibly friendly, the food portions were so generous, and everything was so well made with quality ingredients. I've never been so pleased with my food, service, and even the price on my check! Please don't hesitate to come visit these kind people :) ♡“
“For lunch I decided to try Daikichi Sushi Bistro. This was my first visit. I ordered on a weekday and placed my ordered around 11:30 AM. It took about 25-30 mins for my food to be ready. I expected it to take about this timeframe so I called in advance. The sushi was good however the salmon sashimi was smaller than I had at other sushi places. In fact, I almost thought they forgot to put it in my to go box. The to-go order was packaged nicely and the staff was friendly. My recommendation is to definitely order in advance if you're in a hurry. However, if you're willing to withstand the wait, you can dine in.“
“On the recommendation of a friend who goes here regularly...YUM! We all had cucumber salad...super fresh and super huge portion. Definitely enough to split! Yellowtail Tartare was not what I expected but absolutely delightful. We also had the Hallloween roll, the Fire Dragon Roll and the seared tuna dinner. All were wonderful. Having eaten sushi all over the country in my travels, this place was definitely one of the best, and very reasonably priced as well. It doesn't look like much from the outside but beautiful and cozy on the inside. Hope to be back in the area!“
“This was such a good sushi place!! We decided to go for my husband’s birthday with some friends. We are new to the area so were trying new places. I am very picky when it comes to fish but tried many options the restaurant had and loved it!!When we arrived we mentioned we were together for a birthday, the staff brought out a dessert and a special gift after the meal! It was so nice and will definitely be returning!“
“Best sushi I've had in a long time! It was fresh and crispy. I got the lunch special order of volcano roll (pictures). Lunch special came with edamame, white rice, gyoza, seaweed salad and your choice of vegetables (I chose the house salad) all for $13. Great service as well and a nice calm ambience. will be back to curb all my sushi cravings.“
“The food was fresh and tasty. The service was great. The staff was attentive and quick to take orders and bring out food which was seasoned perfectly. No photos just enjoyed dinner with my family but, the foods appearance was appetizing. The restaurant was clean.We had the shrimp and scallop hibachi, the volcano roll, calamari, the Chesapeake roll, soup and salad. I would definitely return if I were to be in the area.Parking: It’s in a parking lot.Kid-friendliness: They have kid chopsticks.“

“This is such an amazing establishment! It was my first time dining here and I must say that I had a great experience. It was very easy to place my order on the tablet that they had set up and once it was placed it was sent right over to the staff. The staff there was so polite, friendly, and extremely sweet! We did not have to wait long to receive our food and the staff member that provided it to us was very kind. I ordered the Japanese ramen bowl with shrimp and it was absolutely amazing! My base was the miso soup. It was a perfect portion size for the amount that I paid and I also ordered the fruit drinks that they have. I most certainly will be returning to this establishment and would love to try other things! My friend that was able to come with me tried the poke bowl and loved it! Great customer service and great experience! I highly recommend this place!“
“Our favorite sushi restaurant. Japan Samurai was where we had our first dinner together as a couple. They have a roll (Jessica roll) that shares the same name as me. The staff is polite, kid friendly, but you should always call before because they get super busy with what appears to be not much staff. However, they don’t disappoint with food quality and quantity, are quick paced, and their chefs are very entertaining. Always a good go too for hibachi/sushi!“
“Doesn't look fancy and the seating area inside is lackluster BUT y'all. The food is so good and AFFORDABLE compared to most places that serve sushi these days. The hibachi chicken is satisfying and I always have some leftover for the next day. Check this place out, you won't regret it.“
“The atmosphere is very relaxed and quiet it was perfect for our lunch with our baby. The service was very polite and kind and our waitress interacted with our child. It was very sweet. The food was fresh and very delicious!! My husband said his dragon roll was "slappin" and my Hampton roll is defintly worth going back for. We will be returning!“
