“So, I've eaten from this establishment a couple times and it only gets better each time. This time I had brisket, greens, red skin mashed potatoes, fried okra, and hushpuppies. I'm from NC and it gives me that taste of back home bar-b-q. The brisket was so delicious it melts in your mouth, the potatoes were good, the greens were good and cooked just right, and the okra were fried to perfection. I love my hushpuppies sweetened, and these were perfect. I was so ready to dig into this plate y'all ??♀️ I had already eaten 2 of my hushpuppies and took a piece of that brisket. ? “Had a great evening at The Taphouse. The beer selection was great with lots of local brews to choose from. We had the Sloggy Pants juicy IPA, the barrel aged cream ale and the Belgian Strong ale. All were good. For our meals we had the fish n chips, Mississippi roast panini and the old bay wings. All were good. The panini should have more meat in it to make it amazing. The service was great. Jess was bartending and waiting tables. She did an amazing job and was very personable. All together a relaxed chill vibe with good food and good beer. We were traveling through from DC back to Louisiana. Will definitely look to come back when passing through.“

“Service not the best. In the walk way there was a big puddle of Syrup.. the waitress laid a napkin on top of the Syrup & left it there.. Several employees STEEPED ON IT.. STEPPED IN IT.. “We ordered the Split Decision Breakfast that included 1 thick slice of French Toast, 2 eggs, 2 sausage links, 2 bacon strips, and 2 buttermilk pancakes for my friend. I ordered a strawberry cheesecake Belgian waffle, 2 eggs, and 2 strips of bacon for me. We both had sweet tea. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast and definitely will be returning to IHOP!Parking: Plenty of parking with wheel chair accessible parking near the entrance.“

“So on vacation and we decided to go to Chili's for lunch! Those baby back ribs are to die for! I mean the flavor was on point. Tastes like dad's bbq! We also had the combination plate of tacos! Steak, trip and chicken, one word...YUMMY!!! They had an awesome spread of avocado, sour cream and salsa! The tortillas are normally severed cold at places but Chili's were warm and ready to eat! I wish I would have taken pics but I didn't. Overall.... 10/10!!!!!Then, my game was on and we asked the waiter nicely to change the channel to the game, boy was he on it! “The food was good but their were very few gluten free options. I ate a shrimp Cobb salad. The building was accessible and they had a lift to get me from the upper level to the lower. The staff were friendly. The bathroom was accessible and clean. I just wish there were more GF itemsDietary restrictions: Howlett's has an extremely limited number of gluten free items on the menu for lunch.Parking: It was challenging to park. There are only two handicap parking spaces and they are at the end of the building. The parking lot is shared by several businesses, so it was really full.Wheelchair accessibility: Building was accessible. They have a lift to get between upper level and lower level dining. The bathrooms are accessible and tidy.“

The building was clean and well kept. The prices were much better than I was expecting for real seafood. “My son had surgery and saw a waffle sandwich on tik tok. This group went ahead and made it for us. The whole crew Saturday morning on 7/22/23 in the morning was amazing! Also very friendly and made great conversation while still doing their job. I know that most places have a lot of turnaround of employees, but I hope they keep them around! “We’ve lived in Chester for over 5 years but unfortunately just discovered this place a few weeks ago. Walking in I felt like I had just stepped back in time! I felt like I was a kid again stopping at a roadside diner. The place was cozy and filled with locals.Coming from WV, I know a good chili dog and this place has it! It reminded me of chili dogs I use to get at a dairy bar in Beverly, WV. My only complaint is that I wish the coleslaw was finer, but it had a wonderful flavor.Unfortunately the place will be closing in October 2024. So visit this gem while you can!“
