“I’m a big fan of patronage in my local community area and when I moved to Clifton in 2007 my husband and I began enjoying this local restaurant. The outback here has always served us well and tonight was no different , just even better than we remembered!. We were trying to go out for St. Patrick’s day as a family and with our t3 kiddos it can be trying to say to least, but after arriving for our dinner reservation , we were greeted by big smiles and were sat at a nice table in the main dining room immediately. The bar looked slow for st. Patrick’s holiday but the holiday vibe was on fire tonight. Our server Tac and his assistant Gia were outstanding. Honestly I was blown away by the hospitality there. I even got to tell the restaurant manager Frankie a Big heartfelt thanks for having someone like Tac on his core main staff!. The food was great and the kids loved the kids menu too much, even asking for some extra fudge on their desserts!! Then for a st. Paddy’s day gift, Frankie the manager gave our little girl an outback kids t shirt that made her megawatt smile brighter than ever!! I really appreciate that this local franchise goes out of the way to make its patrons feel special. I’m glad we chose the perfect restaurant to ring in this holiday (& our only regret was that they needed to bring back their green pints of beer!). If you’re in this neighborhood, please give it a try or head back to be pleased that it’s still so great! “Long drive from central VA with a stop here before we headed back. No wait to sit outside. Quiet if a bit warm, but fans kept the air moving and the umbrellas blotted direct sunlight. The food was fabulous. Octopus as appetizer was fresh and not spongy (as it can be if not fresh or if cooked poorly). Branzino in parchment paper was herbaceous and well-seasoned with tomato that enhanced the flavor more than it overpowered it. Wedge salad was unexpectedly filling and large. Dessert special of panna cotta was shared over a cappuccino. Really, though, the reason why we'll be coming back is the waitstaff. I could not have asked for better service.”

“This is a charming little bakery and cafe with a small indoor dining area and a few outdoor tables. The atmosphere is all about cozy country French style. So pretty! Note: Indoor tables are reserved for guests who are dining (as opposed to just having coffee and pastries). There is a full daily lunch menu and dinner on Thursdays and they also offer pastries and coffee to go (or to eat outside).Sadly, the card reader was down and they were only accepting cash on the day we went, so we were only able to sample a selection of pastries.The staff were extremely apologetic and very friendly. In spite of the snafu they were handling orders quickly, keeping patrons informed and answering questions.The pastries - sadly the pastries were just not what they should have been. We tried the chocolate almond croissant - which was spread to the point it was almost flat and was chewy/gummy rather than crisp and flaky. For comparison we also tried a standard pain au chocolat, which was better but still not as light and flaky as it should be. The trio of mini caneles were a little doughy and very chewy (verging on gummy bear level chewiness).Overall, although we really wanted to love it given how hard the staff were working and how pretty the place is - if you’re looking for great French pastries this isn’t the spot.”

“*Drink Review Only*A friend and I decided to get some afternoon drinks and lunge for a bit, so Trummer's was our pick. Having been here before, for both their amazing drinks and food, I was surprised I forgot to give this one a review.The Drinks: I went with the "Titanic" and the "Pain & Pleasure" for my drinks. The Titanic is the special cocktail which has a incredible flavors that hit just right. The alcohol was mixed very well as it wasn't over bearing at all. The Pain & Pleasure would have to be my favorite though. The nice and fruity flavor with a slight kick to keep your pallet in check is just perfect.The Service: Service was great! The staff here are all so friendly and welcoming. Water refills were on point and frequent check ups were done as well.The Atmosphere: Two floors, a lively bar downstairs and a very nice and elegant upstairs dining area. The vibes are relaxed and would 100% make a good date spot. Dim lights with an open/spacious elegant dining area calls for a nice intimate night out.Overall, a 5/5! Everything about Trummer's is amazing. From the ambience to the food/drinks, you can't go wrong with this place. Highly recommend visiting Trummer's if you get the chance.”

“Really delicious food, friendly and fast services, and the place itself is just really cool and cozy. They have lots of great main-stay sandwiches and their rotating specials each month are always seasonally appropriate, a little bit inventive, and always delicious. This is one of the few takeout options in the area and it is a great one. While we love dining in, it is also just as good to stop by and pickup our favorite sandwiches when we are on the go. Considering parking is a bit of a challenge in the area, they have a decent sized lot compared to the size of the restaurant too, which is appreciated. Awesome place! Definitely check it out, and great work to all who work there!”

“Such a fun family place! While there's a slight walk involved, good to burn a few calories! A local favorite. I'm glad Peterson's Ice Cream is in the town of Clifton. This is a place all I know have enjoyed. Due to its location it's slightly expensive, but you're getting quality too. They have regular ice cream, with multiple flavors. Yet my Achilles heel is their tasty soft serve. A fantastic treat. Dig the train out front, as trains are quite active on the nearby tracks. This has been around for some time. Yes it can get busy, but the employees are friendly and efficient. I think they deserve an extra kudos, and their organization system is an impressive one. If you're in the area please visit this ice cream shop. They are special to my whole family, and we will be back again!”

“One of our favorite local restaurants. Very tasty comfort foods. Particularly recommend: Mediterranean Pide, Salmon pizza, the shishes, kebabs, and Hunkar Begendi.”

“I was choosing between a few thai options in the area and I am glad I decided this one! I really enjoyed my pad thai and thai ice tea. I ordered online and the process was a breeze. Thai tea was made when I arrived so it didn't get watery. Pad thai had great flavor, good spice and big chicken pieces. The inside of the restaurant is very small, just a warning for bigger groups. For a tuesday night, it was pretty busy inside. I would definitely go back!”

“Clifton cafe has a beautiful atmosphere with comfortable seating and tasteful decor. Stephanie was my waitress and you couldn’t tell she only been with the cafe for 2 weeks. She took the utmost care of me. The menu is so great, offering great sandwiches.”

“We recently had a wedding celebration in the Hayloft. Kayla and Troy and Liz the manager were amazing to work with from the planning (choosing the wines, arranging the space, and the many details that it involved) to the event itself. They went out of their way to be helpful and responsive, and always with a smile on their faces. Liz was also so accessible and knowledgeable.After the event, we had many guests comment on how wonderful the staff was. Kayla and Troy ensured that everything ran smoothly, which meant that the bride and groom and their parents were able to relax and enjoy the day.Thank you to the staff at Paradise Springs, for allowing us to have such fond memories in a special setting!”

“This Starbucks was very slow when we first moved here in 2022. Lately, we've had really good service. Everybody working on red cup day was so friendly and kind. Orders seem to have been coming out quicker lately as well.”

“I ordered from District Eatz recently for pick up. I ordered the 9th street bowl with extra granola. The bowl was extremely satisfying and fulling. I am a huge fan of this place. They have a solid menu option from waffles to quesadillas. I am really interested in trying their waffles.”

“I love coming to this Subway! It's in the same shopping center where my job is so it's often a good place to grab a quick lunch or dinner. I'm a regular and the staff always give me great service and great subs - every single one is delicious! They know I love subs with teriyaki chicken and garlic aioli sauce, though I order a little bit of everything. This Subway feels like home away from home and I recommend it to anyone at this busy shopping center looking for a good bite.”

“Surprised by the lower rating for this place. We’ve eaten here two or three times, it has always been good (sweet and sour chicken and vegetable lo mein for a vegetarian). The workers are always polite, ordering for takeout online is easy, always ready when we get there and warm. We are very happy with this place for our local Chinese take out.”

“I have not been to a Panera Bread in awhile, but I had a gift card so I took advantage of that when I saw this location while I was running errands. It was around 11:30 am, and it would've been hard to get a table; however I was ordering takeout. While Panera has self-ordering kiosks, my gift card needed a human because it was digital, so I stepped up to the counter to order. The guy who took my order was kind and patient. I got my soda and waited about 5 minutes for my order-Turkey chili with the Fuji apple chicken salad. It was packaged nicely and stayed warm. I didn't pay much attention to the coat but I remember it was $16+, which is a lot for what panera offers. The Turkey chili really was good though with sweet notes throughout. I'd love it again on a cold winters day.”

“If spicy Cajun food is your bag, then Popeyes is the place i'm a big fan of the red beans and rice; also the biscuits... It can take a while as they're usually packed! I personally like spicy food, so they definitely get my vote for fast food although I don't go there often! Another stand in line restaurant.”

“What a fantastic place to go and enjoy! Food selection and taste was great and then add in the atmosphere of the building and hospitality of the workers! “Great dinner. The service was good in both promptness, suggestions, cleaning up, etc. Food was almost top notch and had potential...but wasn't fully what I consider fine dining. It's just a nice place to have a good family and friend dinner...not necessarily a first time business dinner unless you are already networked with them. Between the 4 of us, we had salad Caesar Classique, mushroom soup, NY Strip Steak, pork chop, the special Ahi, and the special sea bass. Everything delicious and just a spot off as fine dining but definitely close to it. We had a couple good desserts also.”

As for places to eat in Manassas it is in my top five, and each of those are equal they just serve different foods. “Absolutely great sushi and great service! Ordered the dragon roll, salmon lover roll, volcano roll, and 2 California rolls. Everything was perfect. We ordered take out after eating there several days prior (second pic with flying dragon roll). I’d say the price is very reasonable for such delicious and fresh sushi. Service was excellent. Will be our go to place for both dine in and take out!”

“One of the best African Restaurants in Virginia! It had a great selection of Nigerian, Sierra Leone and more dishes. Delicious suya, perfect puff puff, best attieke, and an extremely friendly staff. Do yourself a favor and stop by and grab something yummy for your tummy.”

I had a gentleman at the cashier so kind and respectful giving us popular option and a the staff in the back came out to ask if we were happy and wanted any add ons on the side. Very considerate. “Food is never disappointing at Cap Grill. It's a good place for a business lunch. Not sure I would take my wife there for a "fine dining " experience. It's priced that way, but it feels very chain restaurant, which it is.”

“Chubby Squirrel has the best wings. On Wednesday they offer 6 wings for $5 and i'm not kidding, they're the best wings i've ever had. Better than Buffalo Wild Wings, Bonchon, WingStop, or anywhere else.”

“This is my first time coming to the ‘Deli’ and oh my goodness this place is good. I got the mad Italian and it was 10/10 one of best sandwiches I’ve had. I would definitely recommend this deli for any sandwiches hot subs and great snacks!”
