“What a gem of a place! - I was looking for "not-starbucks" on my drive to NC from Maryland. What amazingly wonderful and upbeat folks...serving with JOY, from the heart. The menu is massive and the vibe is local and sweet. They were not kidding when they said the iced tea is good. I'm a tea snob and wow, they nailed theirs. They make it with spring water and added tapioca pearls to make it fun! Stop in. Be prepared to smile. You will not be disappointed! AND!!! If you've got road fatigue with the family, this is a great place to stretch your legs and play yard games with the kids. Enjoy!”

“We were pleasantly surprised by the huge menu and amazing food. Everyone enjoyed their meals and I especially loved the scallops! We were expecting just pizza but they had so much more!”

“Why go to Starbucks? This is a great local place for coffee and food. The staff were charming, professional and friendly.The coffees were what we needed and the egg and bacon burrito was exactly right and delicious.We were in a hurry so got our order to go, but reluctantly because the place itself is so welcoming. “I am a regular customer at Lentini’s. Last night, I went with my wife and son. The restaurant was busy and obviously short staffed. One waitress was out sick and one long term waitress had left when she found another job. Service is ordinarily outstanding. Several people were frustrated last night, customers and obviously employees. Yet, I watched those folks grind it out. They hustled, were polite and apologetic, and in my mind did a great job under bad circumstances. I was in that business a long time. That is a stressful situation, and I think they did outstanding. A good business will look good when they are staffed by trained employees and everything is running smoothly. But you see how good a business really is when they face and conquer extreme circumstances and still treat the customers well. My worst experience there is the one that merits a 5 star review.Good job folks!”

“I have eaten Pizza my whole 64 years of life (maybe not as an infant, ?) And I LOVE pizza! But the sausage and pepperoni from Bellacino's is absolutely the most delicious pizza I've EVER had! I wished we lived closer. But we're planning a date/dinner night there soon. Fast, efficient and very friendly staff too. Winner winner, chicken ? dinner!”

“20231213 I was at Bojangles and spotted this restaurant on Google Maps. I decided to give it a try. To my surprise, the Wontons were pretty good, and is homemade. The shrimp and chicken Hibachi was pretty good, missing the Japanese Hibachi grilled flavor. Price is very reasonable for What I got. Big shrimp and lots of chicken and veggies.”

“One of our most frequently visited Subways. Great location only 10 mins from us. Always great service at this location. Food is always fresh and excellent. Cleanliness is always present. If you dine in, the tables could be wiped down a little better. Clean restrooms. Parking usually isn't a problem but it's a smaller lot with 10-12 parking spaces. Papa John's pizza located next door at this location also. Mojo Custom Sportswear Custom shirts next door to Papa John's if you need custom screen printing. “It was so quiet in there - I loved it! Got through a bunch of emails I needed to get through.It's fall, so I tried the specialty Campfire drink with toffee flavor. It was delicious!!!!The service was great as well. She was happy and bubbly and made me laugh.Can't wait to try something else new there!!!”

“No clue why this place does not have a 4.5 or higher rating. The service was courteous and fast. We have had terrible experiences at other locations. From dry biscuits to under seasoned chicken. This place delivered us a hot buttery biscuit with a perfectly spiced chicken filet with the crispiest edges. We also indulged in a picnic of their hashbrown. They were SO crispy and delicious. This was all delivered so fast and with a smile at 8:30ish in the morning and it made our day. Highly recommend stopping at this location on your next road trip”

“Just had the best Thai meal I can remember. I am a fan of Thai food and found Nakhonthai in Roanoke by doing a map search and it is my new favorite. Very fresh and authentic! In addition to the excellent food we also had Outstanding service!”

“My mother and I are traveling from NC to home in Pa. the hotel we are staying at recommended Hollywood's. the food and service was amazing. our server recommended all the food and after trying several things we know why. it was all delicious! our server Olivia was one of the best we ever had. (I was a server for many years so I know the hard work it takes to be one of the best and Olivia was the best) I hope when my mom and I left tonight we made Olivia's night. I recommend everyone try this place the food and service is AMAZING! if we ever travel this way again we will be visiting Hollywood's for sure!”

“Fortunato serves upscale Italian food in a pared down but trendy atmosphere. Yes, the semi/rustic style means diners either need to sit close together or shout to be heard. I was one of a weekday evening of a party of three all of whom love to try new food. Starting with the formaggi (cheese platter) to cannoli and semifreddo dessert, we were not disappointed. Each of us ordered a main dish. The vegetarian chose homemade pasta with a creamy cheese sauce; the meat eater, pork Milanese; and I, the roasted whole Branzino. I elelcted to trythis fish for comparison with similar dishes in a favorite Oriental restaurant. Fortunato’s Branzino preparation won hands down for me. The flesh was perfectly prepared - moist, tender, and almost falling off the bones. The side complimented the fish perfectly. I finished my cannoli accompanied by an espresso and a smile on my face.”

“We were taken to the restaurant whilst staying with new friends local to the area and to get to listen to the wonderful singer Annalyse Marie who was singing at the restaurant for the evening. - the restaurant Gusto is really wonderful with caring thoughtful staff but I have to say the food was truly wonderful ! I had the chicken bacon and Ranch Pizza and certainly never had this topping on a pizza before but thought why not give it a try ! I honestly with hand on my heart think this is the best pizza I have ever had in my life ! It was utterly delicious ! The right amount of cheese and sauce and a little messy but so worth it ! I keep dreaming about the pizza ever since ! I don’t think anywhere could beat how tasty this pizza was ! What a wonderful restaurant and if I wasn’t on a big trip I would absolutely return for more ! If you haven’t been to Gusto’s you’re missing out !”

“Excellent experience from the moment I opened the door. Greeted with a big smile by one of the sweet servers. Quickly met for a beverage by the second. Recommended the meatloaf and it’s divine! Not a typical diner. Think 5 star with smaller space. Tables could be sanded and repainted (no more shine. Prob bleach) but doesn’t change this perfect 5 star experience! Best place to eat before Roanoke off 81. Cute little outdoor patio and clean restrooms. Thank you for a great dinner!”

“Never been and rolled in less than 5 minutes before they closed. The staff was VERY friendly and fixed my 2 Star City dogs to perfection. Even cooked fresh fries too! The food was VERY good! Definitely going back to try more choices. If you like the Roanoke Weenier Stand and Texas Tavern, you need to try this place! Delicious. 5 stars!”
