“This was our first time since moving up here. I had the BBQ sandwich special, it had the right amount of bite to it, with Cole slaw on top, vanilla milkshake, fries. It reminded us of Smitty's better burger in Hampton Virginia, great food, great service, great people. My husband got the two hotdogs with fries, he loved it. It has a drive thru, walk in, order ahead, it's a great place in Mt Herman. They have a big parking lot on the side for truckers. They also have counter seats, plenty of tables, restrooms.“

I was visiting the area and had an opportunity to stop in, it was a good dining experience for lunch. Amazing serving size and it was so good and fast. “This place is highly sentimental to me to begin with as my papa used to bring me here all the time when I was younger and I'm 25 now and he passed away at the age of 70 a few weeks ago. I went for the first time in years last night and was legitimately sobbing at the memories it brought up for me; the ice cream was great and the people were nice and it looks cool since they remodeled but my favorite thing to get there used to be the Oreo earthquake I don't know if y'all still have it or not but I'd like to have it if it's on the menu. Last time we ate here, the crews seemed very distracted and uncaring. Fast forward a couple years and the atmosphere is very much night and day. The crew was INCREDIBLY friendly. They were all pushing to put out great food. They acted very organized. And the food tasted amazing.“

“First time in Danville, and I found this place recommended on Yelp. Adorable, clean, local vibe. I couldn't find the burger I saw recommended on Yelp on the menu, and the server said they change the menu every three months. But they have a make your own burger and she found out what was on that burger to help me order something similar. Great service! I never had to ask for a refill--she also was attentive and kept the refills coming for my drink. The potato bombs appetizer was unique and delicious. The burger and fries were definitely worth coming here for.“
