“I just spotted the sign in a shopping strip and decided to give this place a try.Outside and inside are pretty mediocre, nothing to write home about. They are somewhat limited by the space and constraints of the building.I ordered a house salad and a veggie stromboli. The salad was what to be expected, but the stromboli was above and beyond. Really enjoyed the variety of vegetable toppings inside and it was baked perfectly.Service was great and point. Food was reasonably priced.Nonni's was definitely better than your run of the mill pizza/italian restaurant. I was impressed with my order and will definitely come back.“
“We kept saying we would go, but we should have done it sooner. The entrees, sauces, hand made pasta, and desserts are so good that if they upgraded their salad to mixed field greens, their menu could take on Schoolfield. There is a naturally talented Italian sous chef in there We were initially put off by the outside (and frankly, the inside seating). It's exceptionally clean and maintained, but very diner-esque. Then, secondary disappointment over the lack of Italian wine. Yes, we are aware that we live in Danville! Praying that someone gets brave enough to put some Barolo, valpolicella, amarone, Tuscan, etc on a list. If they did, we would move in and name our own table. The people that work here LOVE the guests and the food. If you know what hand made olive oil foccacia is, and your foot has not made it through this door, then I am taking your table.“
“I love Ciro's stromboli picked a take out over the weekend. It was cooked perfectly but my only disappointment was the meat sauce size was a tiny cup which isn't nearly enough for the size of the stromboli. Need to reevaluate portion size please. Especially when you guys serve the best stromboli in town. “
“We stopped in on a Saturday night and the place was busy. Our waiter was attentive and helpful with our friends allergy issues. Food was tasty and delivered to the table hot and complete. Definitely recommend.Dietary restrictions: One of our friends has an allergy to green peppers and they were very accommodating.“
“If you asked me a year ago, I'd say 5stars all day, I live not even a mile from the place and remember when it first opened years ago, We use to ride the 4wheelers up there and eat. The owner more than likely knows who's writing the review. We were the only ones that did that. Carini was a super cool dude. Haven't seen him in a while not sure if someone took over, but the last few times I've been disappointed in the pizza. $21 for a large (2) topping pizza and a tip, but I've only been getting a one topping. And you can't really say anything because the pizza is already done unless you want to wait longer plus the younger guys in there now are a hit and miss sometimes they are friendly other times it seems like you're bothering them. But I still give them busy, I just stick to the One topping pizza from now on ?“
“My wife and I went here with a friend. As soon as we walked in we were seated. And as soon as we were seated, Brandy, our waitress immediately took our drinks order. So far so great! Looking around, the restaurant is nice, but no frills. That isn't bad though because we wanted a place with a casual atmosphere, large portions, and reasonable prices. And we got all three. The restaurant was clean, and as soon as people left their yable was immediately bussed. That made it nice because it's gross to me to have tables around a restaurant that have no people but have dirty dishes on them. I ordered chicken parmigiana with ziti. I took half home because of the large portion size. I had a bock beer that was very good and ice cold. There is no reason to give Frank's anything but five stars. We will eat here again.“
“I gave the Olive Garden this time a four star even though I have been eating at this restaurant for over 17 years as of late it just seems to be missing something. I don’t know if it’s new owners or new cooks or what it is but the food is still good, but it’s just not as good as it wants was But I still go there. Every chance I get not to mention I ordered an order and one of my salads from my entrée was missing so I contacted Olive Garden and they were supposed to send me a gift card for the inconvenience and I never seen my gift card. It never showed up and this has been almost 6 months so Very disappointed about that.“
“Pizza used to be better.I have been going since I was a child. Pete had the best pizza and Italian food in town .His nephew owns it now .when he makes your pizza it is just like Pete makes it but if the help makes it disappointing. I still gave 5 stars because bad days eating there is still good.“
“This was AMAZING unfortunately I didn't get our servers name but she was absolutely fantastic she was a short lady with Blonde hair she had it up in a bun she was running tables and doing the checkout line. She absolutely needs a raise. The food was fantastic hubby and I both got the baked spaghetti and garlic bread and it was the best spaghetti I've ever put in my mouth and that's including my own ?. We will most definitely be back and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!! Thank y'all SOOOOO much“
“First I am always leery of eating Italian food out. However my husband and me decided to try this place. Made a reservation and we were seated by some who I think was the owner. He was speaking in Italian while passing the kitchen. We were seated in a booth across from two couples. I am the chatty type and ask how the food was. They said they ate there all the time and the was good.Our waitress was sweet and accommodating for out needs. She took our drink order and returned with drinks and took our order. I had Chicken Piccata, my husband order Chicken Parmasean. Waitress was busy delivering salads to table next to us. I think she expected us to be mad, so I told that was the best tossed salad I had ever seen, to let her know accidents happen.Having said that my Chicken Piccata was so delicious, but my husband was disappointed with the sauce as he felt it had no flavor. He offered me a piece of his Chicken and all I could taste was the bread crumbs. He wished he had ordered the chicken marsala.We brought dessert home. Tiramasu and cannoli, both delicious. Sorry review is long but I wanted to make sure I gave a good review. We will return again.“
“This is mine and my wife’s favorite Italian pizza place. Food is delicious and service is always top notch! Owner is friendly and makes sure each order is taken care of properly. Prices have gone up since they opened but you have to keep in mind; food prices for them have also gone up. They have to make that money back somehow. I think out of 100 times we have gotten food here; only once was my order messed up. I normally get a steak and cheese with fried onions, mushrooms and marinara sauce. Only once did I get home only to find out there was no marinara sauce on my steak & cheese. But who am I kidding; I still ate that steak and cheese like it was the last one I would ever eat ?“
“Part of a shopping center so a little aged but the place was a clean and pleasant. The server was nice and patient. We enjoyed the food though the onion in the Stromboli was barely cooked. The spaghetti sauce is obviously the same marinara they use on pizza and dipping sauce as it was not thick at all. We also got the appetizer sampler a s it was good though pretty standard fare. I will return because it seems like a good option for Danville“
“I always get takeout. I’ve tried the spaghetti, wings, beef and chicken gyros. They all have been great except sometimes the gyros can be kind of soggy, depending on how much sauce and shredded lettuce they put also depending on who’s in the kitchen. The owner is really cool and respectful but some of the other employees can be rude and have almost no emotion. Need more training or just new employees with some good attitude.Parking: It’s connected with a gas station so it’s a shared parking lot. Not many spaces but people come and go so I’m sure it can be figured out.“
