“Hot pot was supper good with good portions per each person. Workers were super nice and are always walking around if you need anything. The prime rib was so tender and melts in your mouth. Not to mention the sauce that they give you the instructions to make is amazing and you can choose how much of an ingredient to add in.“
“Been to Guy Shige in the Mosaic District a bunch of times, and it's always a hit. This time, I grabbed some sushi, and man, it was the right move! The sushi was mega fresh, and the flavor was next level, especially with the real wasabi they grate on the spot – totally beats the regular stuff. Also had the oolong peach cream cake for dessert, and it was just perfect – the tea and peach combo wasn't too sweet or anything. On a previous visit, we tried the Wagyu. The waiter showed us how to enjoy it with a bit of pink salt and wasabi, and it was mind-blowingly good, way better than any ribeye I've had.Guy Shige is definitely my favorite spot for those special nights out. They always nail it with the food!“
“Beautiful interior!Price is on the expensive side, but I definitely think the food is worth the money.Their speciality menu is the Yakitori Platter, which is think is pretty good but I didn’t really like the roasted peppers, i honestly would rather just order everything else on the combo and add on something else other than the pepper. ?️Their spicy miso ramen had so much chili Oil that all I could taste was the chili oil and no miso. I’ll give it another try but my reviews stay at 4 due to this.“
“A perfect little sushi spot for you and a loved one to visit. All of the sushi is tasty and fairly priced. The servers are very attentive and always ready to assist. We got the 'Queen' which is a sushi spread for two and each piece was fantastic. This also came with a salad and miso soup. Can't wait to go back!!!“
“From the minute our party of two entered, the staff greeted us warmly and were very polite. To start, the chicken karaage was perfectly seasoned, crisp, and temperature hot - no sauce needed. For my meal, I ordered the nigiri only Omakase (Chef Inspired Platter) which came with a miso soup and salad. The taste brought me back to Japan. Our meal also came with dessert in which we chose the green tea ice cream which did not disappoint! Everyone working was attentive, informative, and wonderful. Will be back and would definitely recommend!“
“Absolutely a gem!Our experience was based on two people ordering ramen (absolutely delicious)The service from everyone who worked there at this family owned business was absolutely top notch, professional, courteous, friendly and welcoming. The price is very reasonable and the portion was sufficient for us.We elected for add on protein for our ramen (meat) which was tender, and cooked to perfection.Highly recommend this place and we will be back again and aging“
“Fresh rolls, delicious drinks, an attentive waiter, and the restaurant's clean and modern interior decor make for a great dining experience. I will definitely return to try more!Parking: Plenty of free parking as it's located in a shopping plaza.“
“Nice vibe and kid friendly. The lunch bento and dinner boxes are amazing. Sushi is great. The manager even brought us a sample to try.Kid-friendliness: They don't have a kids menu bot the lunch and dinner boxes are so big they can be easily shared.“
“I loved everything except for the fact my egg in my ramen was hard boiled and was told that they don’t serve it any other way and somehow my noodles were cold but my soup was hot.. not sure how they managed that… EEL Roll was amazing as always but please change the egg ??????“
“The woman forgot to closely track my order. The order was made and she forgot that it was my order. I waited at least an extra 15 minutes. Only til I looked at a package that it was my order. Of course, now I get home and I am missing my yellow tail sashimi. Poor service and quality control of take out orders.“
“After months of experimenting looking for our new sushi spot since moving to Fairfax, excited to say we have found it. The sushi was fresh and flavorful, the menu choices diverse and the staff attentive. Bonus: the decor adds an amazing dash of zen to the whole experience.“
“Cozy and quiet spot for flavorful Japanese food and small plates (izakaya)They have a large menu and nice staff. Plus, there was some soft jazz playing on the speakers.I really loved their kitsune udon! Broth tasted rich, each topping tasted fresh, and the noodles were cooked perfectly chewy.“
“Very happy to have found this place! The food was good, the atmosphere was fun, and the restaurant was very clean! Our chef was funny and very accommodating for our food allergies in the group. We will definitely come back, and I have recommended this place to anyone who asks!“
“At this all you can eat lunch is 25.95. The location of the place is very convenient on the outside of Fair Oaks Mall. On the inside, the place is very clean and organized. When it came to the food, the first thing I opted for was the Sushi. They had rolls and Sashimi. They had a lot of the traditional options such as Spicy Tuna rolls and California Rolls. Overall I would say the quality of the fish was good. Nothing tasted off about it. The selection of sushi was pretty good however I will say that there was a lot of rice on the sushi rolls. With regards to the non-sushi items those were good as well. The standouts were the Korean Noodles, Korean Bulgogi/Galbi and the Pork Belly. Overall, this is not a place I would go to often but was definitely an enjoyable experience.“
“This a great option for something filling for a great price! We ordered the chicken and shrimp hibachi, chicken and salmon hibachi, chicken dumplings, shrimp tempura roll, and 2 extra yummy sauces and paid $32. Quick and polite service! We were starving and ate the sushi and dumplings on the way home but the shrimp tempura roll was my favorite! It was warm and crunchy but I think that’s intended since it’s fried but I loved it especially with the pickled ginger. My food was filling and so good I ate the majority of it without the yummy sauce in the car lol. No regrets stopping here for quick to go dinner!“
“First visit for lunch today but it sure won't be my last. Had pork gyoza, spicy salmon roll, and Hana roll. Everything was excellent! We were the only customers, right after opening time on a rainy Wednesday between Christmas and New Year, so the service was great. Sorry no photos - next time.“
“The vibe was great but the portions are small for me..... And the noodles was very salty.... I'll go there again and again... Loved the experienceDietary restrictions: They were super nice to accommodate my wife with gluten free food.... Thank you guys“
“Their sashimi and rolls are delicious and super fresh every time I visit (and I've come pretty often haha). I especially love their tako wasabi...but everything is fantastic! I have brought a lot of family and friends here and they all loved it here and thought the same - food is very fresh, amazing quality, and everything is very very tasty! The restaurant is also very modern, chic, and always very clean as well! The owners, chefs, manager, and servers are all amazing! Every time I go they are always very welcoming and attentive. Shout out to Kai who always goes above and beyond! The only downside is that parking is limited but that's not under their control! :)This restaurant really is a fantastic addition to the DMV area! ?“
