“Wheelchair accessibility: There is the cement ramp, so you don't have to jump the curb. It's right in front of the door. As long as someone isn't blocking that drop-off space, it's not difficult to get in with a wheelchair. The waitstaff is very understanding and accommodating of customers with disabilities. However, it's smart for the diners with a disabled person in their party to call ahead of time. It's a good idea to ask what are the best times to come in order to have a table available on the first floor, and that a disabled person will be in the group coming to dine. It notifies the folks who seat customers to be aware that someone with special needs is coming in; it helps with the time it takes to be seated, and less confusion.”
“Perfection! Walker's is that small-town diner where the waitress knows everyone's name... I stopped in for breakfast in December 2023, sat at one of the dozen or so stools and soaked in the joyous ambiance. The food was exactly as you'd hope, generous and delish, with impeccable service. A+”
“Excellent home made loaf cakes lemon blue berry and sweet cinnamon bread loaf , pumpkin bread as well . Lord of great candy and sweets I also bought some sliced roast beef from deli the best I had since 94’ when I moved here from Caly!”
“A good friend told me about this place so I said let's go to it. I love Mexican food. Can't remember the name of what I had but it was the BEST Mexican food I've ever had. Love the food, staff and atmosphere. I highly recommend going there, I know I'll be going back..”
“Another small gem, for sure. We tried several dishes including the Goat Tikka Marsala and the Chicken Vinderlo, all of which was fantastic! The heat scale is very friendly to all levels of spice-heads. I've been to several Indian restaurants and I think I can save I've found my favorite. I was blown away with the amount of flavor in every dish and every bite. If you're considering Indian for dinner, this is your best bet for sure!! We will absolutely be back.(The food was so good, it didn't last long enough for pictures!)”
“Delicious BBQ with a wide selection of southern sides from baked beans off the smoker to collard greens. This place will keep you wanting more. Don’t be fooled by its fast food looking exterior this is a nice break from the chain restaurants common to this area. A must see when passing through Farmville, Virginia. A warm and welcoming atmosphere with great service- you will feel like you’re at a backyard barbecue.”
“We stopped in on our way home from a rather long day and have to say that everything was simply perfect! Couldn’t ask for a better server (thank you, Caleb!)… professional, friendly and overall just great human. Food was spot on, too. We highly recommend both the Reuben and the chili lime/shrimp. Both have a little kick to them but handleable even by this self proclaimed wimpy (to spices) gal. Thank you so much for accommodating Jeff’s AlphaGal allergies, another fun new path that we are traveling. We will be back! Soon!! ?❤️Parking: Easiest to park behind the buildings”
“Farmville's own little slice. Family owned and operated. The Pino's crew takes care of everyone like they are a VIP. Beautiful pizzas and even better entres from hulking salads to well garnished pastas and more. Personal favorites: the pinos calzone and the philly cheesesteak sub. Closed Mon/Tues.Parking: Parking lot is small and cramped but seldom full except weekends at dinnertime. Not good for large work vehicles.”
“Better Mexican food than you'd expect for Farmville. They've taken time with the decor, great tile everywhere. Food was excellent, not the typical texmex stuff. Fast and cheap as well, under 9 dollars for Birria tacos. Service was great, didn't bother me but took care of everything before I had to ask.”
“Hands down 5 stars all around. This is what Farmville needed. Fresh and creative food and drinks that make you want to come back to see what's on the menu next week.”
“I eat here a few times a month and love this place! The food is great quality and much better than some other hibachi restaurants I've been to. The portions are large and you can easily get 2 meals out of the lunch hibachi. The staff is wonderful, especially the owners and one of the servers, Michael.”
“My husband and I ate there for lunch in the middle of the week and it was very good. A typical warm and inviting diner type of experience. We got our food to go, but when picking up we were met with smiles and multiple people ensuring we got exactly what we wanted. The food was amazing!”
“I thought that the food was excellent, the atmosphere was nice, and the cashier served us with a heart warming smile. I would recommend to others. But my fortune cookie was a bit savage LMAO”
“We always had a wonderful time every time we go to Effingham's. They always have the sandwich you were looking for the service is wonderful and the place is in a nice building.”
“Was pleased to find a Three Roads when I was in Farmville. Their beer is always top notch. The staff is always so helpful. They take their time to talk to us about the beer and make sure we know about the new ones. The decor is always nice and plenty of seating. Make sure to stop in and grab a beer. The only thing to know is there is no food so don't come hungry”
